Mognet 1, addressed to all members of Fairy Tail:

I know a lot happened back in Aqures Tosf, but there's still a lot to do around here. We may have saved the city, but a lot of peoples' homes got destroyed in the process and there are some places that need to be rebuilt. I just got the notice that Fairy Tail has been approved as a guild, so let's make our first official mission to help clean up and rebuild the city of Aqures Ixen. The people here need something to believe in after everything that just happened, so let's do our best to help them as much as we can. What do you say, Fairy Tail?

Mognet 2, addressed to all Heroes of Light:

Now that we've been back for a few days, I've finally gotten a chance to organize the notes I was taking in the library in Aqures Tosf. Thanks to those of you who stopped in to help me - I wouldn't have been able to collect nearly as much information working by myself. A lot of what I found turned out to be outdated crystal theory from before the time it was widely known that they draw upon life energy, but I did find something else that I think will be useful. Some of the chapters I was able to get the best notes on deal with the use of crystals in energy conversion as well as Job infusion.

With Palitutu gone, we'll need to figure out how to do those things from the ground up, and this should get us at least part of the way there. I'm planning to pay a visit to her lab and look at the notes she had there as well, but in the long term I think we need to be thinking about setting up our own crystal research division among the Heroes of Light. If we're going to survive here and truly understand this world and how it works, we need to do the work ourselves. We've had so many things kept hidden from us so far, and this is our chance to really start learning about them.

If anybody wants to see the notes, let me know. I want to hold onto them myself for the time being.

Action 1, throughout the next few weeks - the damaged districts:

[During the coming weeks, Levy can be found out and about around Aqures Ixen, doing her part to help clear out rubble, move building supplies back and forth, and even working a little to help the construction teams rebuild things where and when she can. It's pretty far out of her usual line of work, but every Fairy Tail member has helped to rebuild their guild headquarters whenever someone attacks or after Gildarts has been in town, so she at least knows her way around nails and a hammer. Anyone wanting to join her is free to do so - especially her guildmates in Fairy Tail, but she'll also flag down anyone else she's met to see if they want to help out too.]

Action 2, throughout the next few weeks - Jessie's Labortory:

[When she isn't out in the streets helping with the cleanup effort, Levy can be found at Jessie's abandoned laboratory, looking around at all the technology and research notes left behind. It's like nothing she's ever seen before, but the researcher in her is eager to get started on decoding it all. Ironically, her counterpart in Edolas would probably have a much better idea of where to start in a place where magic and technology meet like this, but Levy's definitely spent enough time reading about this world's technology that she at least grasps the basics. Still, it's all rather overwhelming now that she has free reign to explore as she pleases.]

This is amazing... I don't even know where to start.

[Bloom was doing her best to help out and thankfully from living on earth for sixteen years she knew how to work by hand and knew how to do certain things. She made her way over to Levy, carrying the toolbox.]

I figured you might need a tool or two.

[Protecting innocents? Easy. Fighting off monsters? Piece of cake. Rebuilding a town? Not so much. There's not much Tsubomi can do, but she wants to help out and be a part of the team that isn't just fighting things.

However, the poor girl isn't good with a hammer, as evident with her left hand bandaged up.]

I was out of it for most of the battle, but I'd like to do anything I can to restore the city. What districts should we head to, first?

[Ales was planning to visit the laboratory the moment he was free, independent of the other Heroes. When his roommate left to investigate, he had to come along. There was much to discuss and many notes to read.]

I say we pick one office and start there. If I were researching crystals, I'd want to keep the most important documents within a five-second walking distance.

[For the rebuilding effort, Cloud proves to be just the sort of person the task calls for. Whenever he's asked he helps to move planks of wood or climb up on top of a scaffolding to hammer things back into place.

In fact he seems a little bit too into his work. The young man is distracted and running on autopilot, not speaking to anyone save for short questions and briefer answers. Mako has been covering for him but it's difficult to not notice that something is wrong.

This particular moment finds him sitting on top of a ladder, mindlessly swinging a hammer as he works to get a shop's signboard back in place.]

I was trying to help with the homes of those native to the city. Was there a place you wanted us to focus on? A lot has been damaged.

Dear Levy,

Thank you for your notes. I had been able to find out some information as well though I don't know how much of it is useful. I would like to hear your thoughts on things as well as agree that we need to move forward.

I'm sure you've seen my letter. I hope to have a meeting and present what we know and what might be best to focus on. Perhaps in smaller groups since there are now so many heroes with so many points of views. I know that Fairy Tail has been in contact with Ashelia about different things and I'd like to offer my support in anyway that I can.

I know we shouldn't freely share information as much as we had before but I would like you to come and speak should you feel comfortable to do so. If not I would like to present some of your findings.

I have found some information that suggests that we, the heroes of light, are the ones who can cause the crystals growth. As such I hope to implore all heroes of light to stay away from the crystal until we have a better idea of how to face it. This might be incorrect but I worry about taking that chance.

[Levy smiles brightly at the site of her friend.]

Thanks. I could definitely use a hand. I know a little bit about this, but it's not something I do a lot of.

The Magitek Research facility is completely destroyed, along with most of the 13th District, but I think the best place to start is in the housing districts. Too many people who weren't involved in the fighting had their homes damaged or destroyed.

It's as good a place as any. We're going to have to learn all of this from the ground up.

[Levy heads into the first office she comes to.]

Tsubomi... are you okay?

[Levy's seen that hand, and she's more than a little concerned.]

[Levy definitely appreciates a hard worker, but Cloud has been a lot more quiet than she's gotten used to ever since coming back from Aqures Tosf. Once she's done with her own work, she walks over to where he's hammering, waiting until he's between swings to call out quietly.]

Cloud...?

I think the best place to start is the housing districts. Lots of people lost their homes in the fighting. The labs and things can be rebuilt afterward.

[When the enter, Ales instinctively walks to the nearest filing cabinet and pulls out a drawer. If Tarutaru were working with Jessie, most documents would be close to the ground; that's what Ales would do.]

It's a bit messy here, definitely well-used. I think you picked the right room, Levy.

[He flips through the first folder. Copies of mundane research reports. Not what he was looking for, but there can be important information hidden anywhere.]

To think, I was asking Jessie if I could help her with crystal research and airship engine development a few months ago. She told me I wasn't learned enough, but I should have known there was another reason for that.

Can you give me some time to think about it? I don't really want to keep what I found secret from anyone, but like you just said, there are too many different viewpoints to keep track of it all and we were just betrayed by someone we all trusted. If the methods described in these notes can be used for something as dangerous as what just happened, I want to make sure whoever is using them is doing so responsibly.

She told me the same thing. I was actually already starting to think there might have been something going on that she wasn't telling us, but I never imagined it was anything like this. It did seem a little strange that a researcher would turn down potential assistants, though, especially with how busy she always said she was. I would have happily done the reading myself if she'd just pointed me in the right direction.

[Ales takes the time to finish skimming the report in his hands and takes out the next one.]

Sephiroth and I were getting a bit suspicious of her...and Dr. Cid as well. He'd been using Empire technology to improve our airships, but he isn't giving out the secret to crystal-less engines to anyone. I believe it may be because he's cautious of someone stealing his secrets, but not sharing with the other engineers? After Je-Palitutu, I can't help but be wary.

[Levy frowns as she keeps sorting through the paperwork.]

I know what you mean about Dr. Cid. We don't know if we can trust him either, but right now I think we need him. We'll just have to be careful about how closely we work with him and what we say.

I was worried about Biggs and Wedge too, but I don't think either of them would have fought as hard as they did if they were working for Palitutu. They'd have to be really committed to the lie.

Biggs and Wedge might have been working for her, but she betrayed them and left them for dead. I wouldn't put it past someone desperate enough to achieve her goals that she'd blow up an entire city.

Dr. Cid is the key to figuring out how the crystals work. But we can't avoid him like we did with Palitutu, we'd be repeating the same mistakes.

[He looks up from the paper at Levy.]

His plans for the Enterprise must be here somewhere. If he refuses to give us any more information, we might have to resort to taking his research for ourselves.

That's true... she might do something like that. We don't have any real way of knowing.

As far as Cid is concerned, we definitely need him to get started here, but once we understand enough of it for ourselves, we should try to do as much on our own as we can.

I want to trust all of them, but at this point, the trust of the Heroes of Light is something that people are going to need to work to earn. We can't make assumptions anymore.

I've been working with him the past two month; he should expect me to continue that. Besides, [He closes his eyes and stands up as straight as he can.] I spoke with him in the past. He seemed to like my forward-thinking ways. I'm sure he'll be more inclined to tell me technical information I should know, on account of being the only Hero here that can pilot an airship.
