I think everyone has to decide for themselves what it means to be a hero. Not everyone is going to think about it the same way. I met someone my first day here who hated being thought of as one. Other people are probably honored or excited to have that title.

In this world, we're called Heroes of Light just by virtue of the fact that we were summoned here from other worlds to fight the Calamity. But I think we should still work for that title, to really earn it and deserve being called something so impressive, you know?

But even with that... you don't have to be a hero to do what's right, or to help people. If you care about something, or someone, and you do your best every day to protect them? That's all you really need to do. You just have to decide what's important to you.
