Lydia heard the voice, and froze for a moment. She knew that voice, and it wasn't one she wanted to hear. Mostly because she knew she was being stupid right then--but she couldn't seem to care.
Now, was it better to chance running, or transform and turn into a bat? (How many heroes had the vampire job anyways, who could do that?) Or should she stay where she was and wai...
The teen sighed, deciding to at least take the bull by the horns so to speak. Turning, arms going behind her back, and trying to ignore the swirling emotions of guilt and anxiety inside her. "I should probably have some with me, yes, Ms. Armstrong." There'd be no way her teacher could mistake who it was now, slinking away from the city alone.
Not that Lydia wasn't prepared to explain and justify.
