Yuffie's eyes don't leave the girl even as she jumps high into the air. The ninja knows it will be hard to dodge so she blinks from sight again. It's a really cheep move to use with someone who's just arrived but that didn't seem to stop Yuffie. When the princess reappears there is a light scratch on her shoulder where Kyoko's spear hit.

"Alright. I'll spell it out for you. Since I assume you don't want me to show you." Yuffie can if Kyoko wants. "You are a hero of light. You won't die here unless killed by something special."

Yuffie rushed forward, her movements fast and hard to see. Her blade slashed Kyoko across the thigh before she took a defensive stance a few yards away. "Your crystal has to be destroyed." Her eyes narrow slight. "Also, I want to live because I have something besides myself to protect."

And because of that Kyoko can't win.
