Or maybe you could say more aptly... second-to-the-last, the actual last was that he didn't want to have his ear against the continued nagging cries of his Moogle that he should go out and socialize with other Heroes. He's been here for about a week, and he's spent the most of that indoors, napping, reading an odd book, and futilely conserving his mp3 player's battery by minimal song listening a few times a day while wondering how he's going to charge it. Think like, those time passage montages in movies, and he's only around the house, with a few odd outings to get a bite to eat. It's rather boring. Gosh Minato.
He wasn't really taking to this whole new world thing... either badly or well. If anything he seemed to be delaying his own coming to terms with it by sticking to only things that were still familiar. Even moving someplace new, in his memory it wasn't that long ago since the last time.
... A party though...
Even if the invite extended to everyone, when the time came and he could see the others there, Minato stood awkwardly some distance away into the street. He managed one (1) compromise with Kharon for all his pushiness, and that was that the Moogle wouldn't attend to him after he dropped him off. So technically... he could back out from this and just kill time elsewhere, then lie about how he had a terrible time and that he should never go to a public party again, right?
So there outside he stands. (But inevitably, he'll be pulled or pushed in somehow, because the below prompts happen, yo.) ]
2 [ Okay, despite himself he can't disagree with food. He's by himself off to the side, against a wall. Contently eating, but not nearby or talking to anyone.
... How come it feels like every time you turn to him between minutes, he's eating something else? Yes, he has actually finished all his previous plates.
The party hostess has unknowingly, and probably unfortunately, included a food void of a child among its invited guests.
If you're particularly unlucky, he might've just unconsciously swiped that last piece of a dessert that you had your eye on at the same final seconds of Palate Destiny. Confront him maybe before he puts it in his mouth?? How much do you even eat? ]
3 [ A perhaps obligatory, Minato has fallen asleep somewhere option. Regardless of how quiet or noisy, or crowded the place he's in is. It's not as blatant as his arrival, as he's likely seated up, but his posture's teetering between some seconds, and it'll only be a time before someone notices his head hanging. Here we go again... ]
