[There hasn't been any question regarding Tear's whereabouts when the earthquake had happened. She would have gone anyway given the importance of the facility, but the screams that had accompanied the shaking made it all the more urgent that she make her way there. Though she had seen the monstrosity that was King Moggle Mog XIV, she could trust other fellow Heroes to take care of it.

When she did reach there, her feelings regarding the decision were indescribible. Yet she kept her expression hard and determined, putting her efforts into delaying them the best she could before they could make their way far into the streets. Watching the other Heroes trying to delay them made it obvious that they were not to be approached, and too often she would find herself just barely dodging a spell or attack, her own music and magic interrupted or not as powerful as it should be.

Nevertheless she gives it her best, her expression unfaltering until...

She feels her hand go cold and her heartbeat falter at the sound of a voice in the distance, eerily haunting and beautiful in its power. Her moment of hesitation nearly costs her when her opponent, a face all too familiar, makes his way closer and moves to try and pierce her with his blade. She was lucky to only just be nicked by it, but the pain was disproportinately excruciating.]

[No, she was doing it again, who was she intending to strike with that spell? If she could break away from her opponent soon enough, she could go to their aid and get them away.

Or maybe the body whom the voice belonged to would make its way to her first, wanting to break her other self.]

Zelda laughed and shook her head.

"No, I will be fine. I'm going to stay back and heal those who might need it." It's a simple job but someone needs to do it and she knows that she'll be safe that way as well. Her two jobs are currently support classes anyway.

As long as people evacuatin' here get inside somewhere safe, and outta the pathway of the moogle, that's fine. Eleventh district, sure. The edges of the city, maybe. Hell, they can hide in our houses if they gotta.

[Sparks takes stock of what he has left as far as supplies as he talks, counting up his few remaining potions and then refilling his revolver.]

Bottlenecking 'em is a good idea. That way we can focus on one exit and help out anyone who's still lucky enough to be alive in this mess. Save some of yer potions 'n spells for them, too. I can get word out to other Heroes who're Ghostbusters out there, too, let 'em know what's goin' on and where to take people if they can. [He pats the walkie-talkie clipped to his Ghostbusters uniform.]

Weird situations call for weird solutions? I dunno, I just know that it'll cause some major damage to the thing. But it might backfire on us, or it might just piss it off and make it come after us. But we gotta do something before it levels the city. We'll have to deal with those un-crystallized people some other way. This way won't be too efficient for that, but this is perfect for takin' down the big guy.

But how do you know this won't get us killed as well?

[Johnny bites back a grimace.] I never said that it couldn't. But I'm willin' to take the risk. Wouldn't be the first time I died, and it probably won't be the last. I won't hold it against ya if you don't wanna do it, though. [He says that earnestly. It's no picnic, and Nanami to him is just a kid.]

[Manami blinks and makes an astonished noise when he realizes that she's taken both of them down the stairs using vanish.

It... can take two people?

He looks up and sees that she's right- the zombie-like man is following them, his eyes fixed on Yuffie.

Her determination to stay and fight is admirable. Really, it is. Straight out of one of the video games he played when he was younger.
But he thinks of all the bodies he'd passed to get here, and he shakes his head.]

I... don't think heroics like that work in real life.

[He reaches out to take both of her shoulders firmly, and uses teleportation.

The safest place he can think to take them is back home, but she's heavy! Or, at least that's the best description he can think of for the lag he's feeling as he tries to move both of them with the magic.

Of course. He's never done this before. But there is no reason to be afraid.

He changes his destination to a park he is fond of napping in, which is closer to the the hospital and therefore should take less of his magic. As they re-materialize, he staggers to the ground, taking deep breaths. Wow, the world is spinning kinda fast.]

Haa-ha. I suppose I was... the heavy one, because I'm not as cute as you...

I'll try, but no promises.

[Especially since one certain reminder was currently after him he was pretty sure. He just hopes this works, if it did maybe he'd feel more comfortable. As that thought ran through his head magic came up from behind and just barely missed.]

[Fai held out his gun, firing at what he hoped would be a good idea. the arms or legs, but it didn't seem to cause an awful lot of damage. Maybe this wasn't as helpful as he first thought.]

"Truly? Little wonder she's so devoted, then."

K'pandolu glanced out as well, tail flicking. "Let us do the best we can, then. I'll see you after all this is done."

With little desire to stay longer herself, K'pandolu simply nodded. "I'll let him know you're worried," she remarked, and passed on.

[Ven doesn't miss Yuna's response, but there's no time to dwell on it. They might not be able to beat these two, but they can try to hold them off while they think of a plan. If only there was a way to keep them trapped in this building--

As he nears Yeul, Ven activates Flash and disappears -- reappearing behind her a second later and throwing out a sweeping kick at her knees. He's still being too merciful -- he should have struck with his Keyblade -- and while the girl does hit the floor, she casts another dark-aura spell on the way. It misses Ven and hits the ground, but the tile explodes forcefully enough to send him tumbling down the hallway all the same.]

We will have to hope to return them to stasis.

[At least Tazendra knew one could come out of post-death Crystal Stasis from personal experience. This was not a task she relished, but she thought her friends would be quite put out if they had killed her. Once they woke up, that is. They would probably forgive her if she made it quick.]

[On the other hand, the distraction was enough for the possessed Loki to knock Tazendra down, using her armor and higher center of gravity as leverage. The impact stunned her for a moment, and forced her to have to use the pommel of her sword to attempt to push Loki back, rather than the blade. ]

[This gave her time to rock back onto her feet, at least, but didn't seem to help in the situation.]

Bah. I should have kept my Black Mage's abilities...

[If there was one thing about goody two shoes he had grown to both admire and despise after a year of (by all appearances) siding with Ganondorf, it was moments like these. He admired their tenacity and lack of emotional fortitude to run from the face of insurmountable odds, despite the threat of death. Yet now, he could only show his outrage at the idea. Ira struggles to keep Sora restrained as he ~~points out the obvious~~ speaks:]

Look at yourself, Ven - you can barely stand. And when I let go? He's going to charge at you again.

[One thing is clear: The longer they take arguing about this, the less likely it becomes that they both survive.]

Firaga does have an effect, as does Flame Tongue and it is exactly as they expected: it roasts its feet, slowly melting the marshmallows and making it harder for the wicked king to move. Needless to say, his benevolent smile quickly faded and was replaced by a much more wicked and hateful one, a massive "KUPO" being heard as he turned his attention toward the Culprit.

On the one hand, he tried moving sluggilishy one of his feet, the one Sephiroth was attacking, to kick him into a wall. On the other hand, he swung his staff at Jade once more, faster this time and multiple times. If Jade wasn't hit, odds were that the attacks would at least disorientate him.

This did sort of work-- Though instead of luring him, he swung his massive staff her way as she was swinging on her rope. If she's not careful, she might very well end up battered away by the massive staff.

"Well then, I'll hold you to that. I'm going to be very upset if I find you in the hospital or worse." she scolds, ruffling her hair a bit.

"But even so, I think I'll stay here a while longer before going off to play."

Moggle Mog had indeed paid little attention to the Airship, but couldn't ignore it any longer as the canons started firing. H didn't notice what Graham was up to, but soon diverted his attention away from Sephiroth and Jade who were at his feet, swinging his staff toward the airship, as if he were trying to get rid of an annoying Fly. Ales would have to be fast to save the Airship.

Tsubomi let out a gasp as she tightened herself up, allowing the staff to JUST miss.

"Oh, no, what am I doing?!" she yelped out.

[ So far, the gigantic Moogle had been busy with those at his feet and the Airship flying around him. By now, he was no longer walking and was instead flying as his feet had been roasted by Jade and Sephiroth.

When they all attacked and crossed the streams however, another loud "KUPO" could be heard, though this one was filled with pain and agony. It didn't kill him, but a hateful and wicked smile spread across his face as he turned toward Johnny, K'pandolu, D and Deadpool. He was doubtlessly going to attack them--

But the crossed streams kept hitting him and were gaining in power. It would become harder with each passing seconds to keep the streams crossed, as if their hands begged to let go of the proton pack, but maybe if they could hold longer it would end up paying off... ]

"You're moving far too slowly, boy."

In moments the Warrior was struck with a Haste spell, which struck him again and again, as though he were in his own time loop. Not that it increased in effect, but it simply stayed in effect.

"Go on, have your fun and play." The voice says, though, it's not an unfamiliar one, as now, as if to tease him, or confuse the enemy Lightning was on his side, backing him up and pointing an effectively useless Gunblade back at the... well... is either one truly the original?

In a flash, like a boss theme override, there's a kick, one enough to even send this strange reincarnation reeling back.

"Didn't I say you needed to learn to fight or you'd get in trouble?"

The nagging voice should have been quite familiar, surely much to Minato's ire.

"But... what... is wrong with you Elizabeth?" Sure, it'd been some time since she'd seen her old hunting buddy. A stranger to magic, but no stranger to that uneven, unphased stare and walk, the Master puts her hands up and clenches her fists, wholly prepared to slug it out with her former comrade.

"Get up and fight, or run. I won't tell you a second time."

Zelda nodded and then found a place in the peak of the observatory to wait. She was going to just wait for whatever might come.

"It will be soon."

Her voice was soft though determined as she looked up towards the darkening sky.

[On some level, Ven was already aware of both the futility and stupidity in staying. Lacking the will to fight or being badly injured was bad enough; as both, he was nothing more than a target for Sora and a hindrance for Ira. If Ven stuck around, Ira couldn't fight to the fullest -- not if he was busy watching him.

Ven hadn't been strong enough -- or willing enough -- to stand up against the Master and Terra had stepped in and Eraqus had died and if something like that happened again if someone died because he ran when he could have made a difference

[Even if it was logical, even if his past wasn't coming back to haunt him full force right then, the idea of abandoning anyone -- especially a friend -- tore and screamed at everything Ven believed in and stood for. Turning and running was, in that moment, as physically difficult for him as it was emotionally.]

[Yuna leaves her pet to fight and runs towards Ven. Her gun is raised at Yeul while a bright beam hits the girl in the chest. There is no way for her to see if Ven is okay after his tumble, her focus is already split and she isn’t sure how long she can hold on.

The black hooded pet is handling Caius so she just needs to defeat Yeul for them to be safe again. She looks at the small child, her eyes taking in each small delicate feature. They were friends but it wasn’t here that they met. She had stayed away from Yeul giving the girl a chance to live a free life. Now she doesn’t know what to say to the young girl.

Her lips form an apology but the sound is lost to the ambient clutter of fighting.]
