"Tch... That should not be physically possible...!" Rukia narrowed her eyes, her jaw clenching. She had hoped it wouldn't come down to a final confrontation so close to the crystal, but she'd had a strong feeling that it would come this way eventually.

With the Haste spell in effect, she could try both attacks: Fira, and the particle stream thrown from her proton pack. Now that it was getting closer, she might have a better idea of which one was more effective. She was tempted to use Bio, but if they managed to fell it, the idea of a giant poisoned creature just lying around didn't sit well with her. What was more, she didn't want to target the wings, as it would surely cause significant damage to the city and its people if it were to fall from that height.

She boosted the energy of her proton pack to quintuple the damage it caused, refusing to budge. Whatever else happened, they couldn't allow it to reach the Crystal.

"Thank you, Robin. Ramza, you had best be prepared to fight. I don't think it will be much longer before it arrives."

[Yuffie blinks and looks over at Manami with a smile. Is he nervous? This is going to be fun for the ninja princess. She hasn’t been able to tease Manami yet and now she’s pretty sure she knows how. With her smile slowly slipping wider she takes a half step forward, her dark eyes looking up at the other hero.]

It isn’t. In fact my father would probably be upset with me.

[With each word her smile widens until there is a full grin spread across her lips.]

Maybe it’s because I think you’re cute.

[It’s really hard to tell if Yuffie’s serious or not but she’s watching Manami now. Her gaze fixed on him with a curious glint in her eye. Never mind crystal soldiers and city in danger.]

[Yuffie groans softly, her dark eyes blinking up at Reno before a relieved breath leaves her lips. She made it but she also realizes that she can't stay very long on top of Reno before Zack might attack again.]

And we're moving.

[She finds the ground with her left foot, turns and pushes herself up in one swift moment. She isn't about to stand with her back to Zack. Her proton pack is to heavy so she slips it off her shoulders and pulls out two daggers. She doesn't have the right job equipped but she doesn't care. The room is small, they'll have to be quick.]

Reno? Are they all like this?

[Yuffie's words were weak, her fear reflected in her eyes even as she sought to face Zack. A blade flicked from her wrist and embedded into Zacks leg though it doesn't seem to deter the zombie.

There are a lot of swear words that Yuffie wants to use right now.]

You think you guys can hold them off here? [Billy turns to Saori.]

This way. [He takes off for the side of the building. He doesn't like the idea of sending Saori into danger, but he trusts that he can provide her backup and healing as needed. He stops near the first of the emergency side doors.]

The new attack was on the verge of catching the attention of the wicked king once again-- But soon, he took to the sky. With this, his melted feet no longer were an issue, and he got out of range for Jade.

But at least, Jade made it out alive of this fight.

If they wanted a moment of rest, it would happen as he was hit by crossing streams. The flux of energy created by the attack was sure to cause even more troubles for Ashe and Zelda, as the wicked king was now emanating energy, making it even more dangerous to get close.

But this gave the airship and the others the time they needed to get close.

And just as it looked like the creature was going to enter the third District-- He was hit by crossing streams. With a bit of luck, he would be defeated before he could reach the crystal of attack them.

But any help would probably be helpful.

Before long, the gigantic Moogle was nearly before the Crystal of Fire in the 3rd District. In spite of all of the attacks hitting him from every directions, it seemed as though nothing could stop him. But as the crossing streams exploded, a gigantic and terrifying "KUPO" could be heard resonating throughout the entire city. Soon the light of the explosion finally faded, and for an instant it looked as though the king was intact. Even worse, his smile was more terrifying and wide than ever as he looked down at the Heroes of Light before him.

But before long, another explosion occurred. All those who had been attacking the wicked Moogle at this very moment would be sent flying back due of the shock-wave, just as the gigantic creature flied higher than ever above the city. And finally, a third and final. At the very instant the gigantic creature exploded, all the possessed Heroes of Light froze, perfectly still.

And around the Crystal of Fire, Cloud and the Eleven Moogles fell down. Thankfully, Cloud was still alive and he would just be slightly out of it. But much to his dismay, he would remember everything he had gone through. Maybe someone should take pity and give him proper clothes. The Eleven Moogles fared far worse on their end, and were all on death's doorsteps.

"Looks like... The... Thirteen Moogles... Are losing again..."

The Red Mage moogle spoke before dying, the other moogles soon following him. At last, Mogespeare fell down from the sky as well, barely alive as he laid next to Cloud.

"We... Shalt... Beest... Backeth...!"

And with these last words, the last of the eleven Moogles died. The possessed Heroes of Light all immediately turned back into Crystal and the ghosts that had been haunting the city disappeared within an instant. With King Moogle Mog XIV defeated, Mograma imprisoned, Mogespeare and the other ten Moogles dead... Finally, it was the end of the Thirteen Moogles and their curse.

The End?

[ Before long the Moogle moved forward again toward them...

But the crossing streams caused an explosion. ]

Zelda was well up towards the clouds now. She looked down on the battle and was able to see it all as if played out before her. She could feel the energy coming from the moogle and the shock wave of the beams only pushed her higher into the sky.

Her loftwing was trying to handle the winds while Zelda looked down at the scene. She was to far away to shout.

I haven't learnt stop yet, so I don't know from personal experience. But from what I've seen from others using it it works for a set time.

[Which made that plan go right out of the window off the bat. He knew of people who could use them but he was pretty sure that they weren't around right now.]

I can draw there attention in others ways, however.

[He nodded slightly, he knew all he could do was try and not promise that he would be safe. He knew that all he could do was simply try as much as possible.

I cannot promise something that is impossible to tell, however I can at least say I will try my best not to.

[If he says he can do it then Terra trusts him. She realizes that they might be drawn to her but she has to try. She nods to Fai and then proceeds to move to the left before her slight frame is out of sight.

She doesn't have any sneaking abilities so she takes extra care to be quite. Magic jumps at her fingertips as she gets in position waiting for the four to come into view. She only hopes that Fai can distract them long enough.]

Okay.

[Yuna really doesn't like that answer but for now she relents. she quickly presses her lips to his cheek before running off and out of harm's way. She hopes to find an Ether or something so that she can run back but it depends on who she runs into.]

Rukia looked at the tiny bodies, unsure of what she felt. Pity? Remorse? She might not have felt such things had they been ordinary humans, or monsters, but Moogles were ordinarily so good-natured and kind and helpful. What drove them to this state? Were they really so desperate? Why?

Would that she had her zanpakutou to ensure that their souls were put to rest, but she wasn't entirely certain how this world's rules applied regarding the afterlife. Even so.

"May your sins be erased, so that you may find the peaceful world you wished for," she murmured.

Now to check on that woman in the sparkly...

Wait just one moment.

"...Cloud...? Cloud!" Why was he here? And why was he wearing that? Honestly, he needed to stop accepting embarrassing wagers from people. She raced to the fallen youth, sliding her arm under his neck and shoulders to prop him up. "Cloud, are you all right?" She glanced quickly at Robin and Ramza, then back at the young man. Carefully Rukia planted her palm over his heart, feeling it beat beneath her fingertips. He was still alive...good. "Cura."

The ship rocked from side to side as the evil Moogle rose, and then it stopped shaking. Not wasting a moment, Ales took control once more and steered the ship back to the giant.

"This doesn't look good." Something was happening, but Moggle Mog seemed to be in pain.

"FIRE THE CANNONS!" He shouted into the horn.

She knew what she could do as per her abilities in Aquares Ixen, not her home world.

"Good, then step up and tell me waht the hell she just did!" Personas hadn't been explained, and there wasn't a Deadpool around to call it a Stand either.

All the same, Allenby makes the first move to move in quickly and throw a strong right straight for Liz's stomach... a haymaker to know the wind out of her.

She nods, not smiling or seeming relieved at all.

"You're not wrong." she says, reluctantly lifting up the body of her armored sister.

It took some doing, but with the cargo on board the airship, Kidd was able to find what she was looking for. Fabric was torn into strips and soaked in what alcohol they could find. It wasn't the same as proper flaming shot but every little bit helped.

"What I'd give for a barrel of pitch right now..."

The order came down from above and Kidd was quick to move. "Cannons loaded. OPEN FIRE!" The crew belowdecks followed the relayed order. The spark of the cannons ignited the shot and sent them through the air towards their giant foe.

Cloud groaned as he lay on the ground. His whole body was tingling from the whole affair. He wasn't waking up, he'd been awake the whole time. He knew everything he was made to do, everything he was forced to say. From within he did all he could to stop the summoning of that giant moogle but there wasn't anything he could do. At least, he hoped his resistance helped somehow.

But now he lay on the ground, covered in sticky goo and that strange...outfit. The world spun around him. It felt like gravity was pulling him in every direction at once. He felt like if he tried to move then he would slip away down into nothing.

It was unpleasantly like being drunk.

Feeling the cooling sensation of the healing spell cast over him he looked up at Rukia. He smiled at her briefly before turning away, vomiting onto the ground, away from the others as much as he could. A shame, he wanted to try to hold onto that last bit of his dignity.

"...sorry..."

Rukia's smile softened. "There is no need to apologize. We're just glad you're all right." She pulled her hand into the sleeve of her jumpsuit, using the cuff to wipe away the specks of puke from his face. Would that she had some water to give him to wash away the taste.

...At least she wasn't casting Water on his face, right?

"Rest easy for now," she advised, letting his head weigh down on her lap as she lifted her head to look around the city. Giant globs of roasted marshmallow were raining down, pounding the streets and dribbling down rooftops. She supposed there were worse things to cover the city.

"Do you require more healing?"

[Tazendra considered, and tried a Stop spell of her own to hold Loki, and give them a few moments of breathing room. This meant having a plan.]

Bah. The spells cannot last for long, but we might consider a better means to hold them. Or to kill them

[that wasn't a pleasant thought. Tazendra knew they would come back, but the thought of killing two friends while they were defenseless made her feel physically ill. The only thing that even made it thinkable, albeit horrible, was the certain knowledge that both would rather she not take harm by their hands.]

[Fai held up his gu, he was ready or at least he will try and be a good enlough distraction. Upon seeing them he set about using Slow, slowing them down majorly before starting to fire at them.]

[With the four's attention pulled towards Fai Terra steps out and casts. A large black circle surrounds them all as Demi pulls them against the ground.

Her spell does the trick but now they are more interested in her than they are in Fai. Celes holds up a hand and then powerful magic shocks towards Terra lifting her off her feet. Sabin runs forward, his fist posed to punch before all the figures stopped.

Terra is panting heavily when she looks between Fai and the four crystal figures. Her eyes then go to the sky where the Marshmallow mog no longer loomed over the skyline.]

Is it over?

I do think like us they have a limit before death, but it's finding that limit.

[As much as he would be fine to killing someone, he wanted to know there was a chance of that not having to be the option.]
