Rukia counted another Hero entering the building. That made nine so far. Six more, and she could consider the matter in good hands. There were only so many people who could fit in that observatory before friendly fire became inevitable.

"Somehow, I doubt the one who wrote the letter is open to diplomatic relations," she remarked with a frown. "I don't like it. If this really is the spot where they intend to appear, fighting space will be cramped. It would be an easy place to set a trap."

She was glad Ira seemed to be of a similar mind. She hadn't been part of this world all that long, so her line of thinking might be jaded or paranoid.
