With the four zombies turned to Crystal Terra ran home. She had hoped to see Sephiroth there but the house was dark and empty. She left her sword by the front door and then went running towards the castle where the large moogle had risen over the city. She didn’t know if she’d find him; her feet, still bare, raced across the cold ground looking for Sephiroth and any others she knew who took place in the fight. Her pajamas were stained with dirt but it wasn’t anything that wouldn’t come out. Besides a few scratches along her arms and cheek Terra was fine. Her hair was a little tangled but she didn’t care. She just knew that she had to find him.

Heavy pants fell from her lips when her eyes finally spotted the silver haired hero. Terra didn’t pause or stare, instead she ran towards him. Her feet were freezing and a yard before she reached him she staggered. She swallowed the pain and caught herself, her heel’s screaming as she collided with Sephiroth. Her fingers grabbed his side while her face buried into his chest.

Terra was determined not to cry but seeing that he was okay brought a sense of relief which somehow insisted on tears. She didn’t want to look up at him because she knew that she shouldn’t have left the house. She just wanted to stand there and wish the night would fade into morning.
