Summary: Midnight is approaching, ghosts are everywhere and clouds are slowly gathering above the old observatory... What does it all mean? This post is open to all characters, there are no sign-ups for this.

[Morgan nods his head in response. It's a sentiment he can agree with, if nothing else. In his experience, the only thing he'd ever seen the Risen want was brains, but he was pretty sure that the ghosts haunting them now were more complex.]

[Speaking of...]

I wonder how they got here. You don't think Palitutu had anything to do with it, do you?

That's something I've been worried about.

[Robin nods, thoughtfully.] She must know we've done work on the problems facing us -- and on her laboratory. I have to think... the timing could work to her benefit. As a way to hurt us.

[Morgan nods in response. He'd assumed that the attack was a way to weaken the heroes, but the possibility of it being a distraction hadn't crossed his mind.]

[Looking around the observatory, he was starting to feel that Robin was right.]

Y'know, there are a lot of us gathered here. I think you might be right.

Mm. But it could be an attack, too. It's hard to know.
