Characters: Everyone!
Where: Aqures Ixen (Old Observatory, others).
When: Night from the 31st of October to the 01st of November.
Summary: Midnight is approaching, ghosts are everywhere and clouds are slowly gathering above the old observatory... What does it all mean? This post is open to all characters, there are no sign-ups for this.

[Tazendra wouldn't normally ask for help. Help would imply that she was unable to handle things on her own. But her own personal honor meant that even if she couldn't stop the bodies of the fallen Heroes, she had to stop her friends. And she'd rather ask for help than break her word, even by omission.]

Yes. Both are known to me; the shorter one was a sorcerer of some skill. The taller is a warrior, wiht little magical training.

{it is worth noting that Tazendra's definition of shorter is still pretty tall; Aerich was around her height, at well above seven feet. Loki was more typical of height for a man who looked like a baseline human.]

[And, indeed, the taller one was closing with her, seemingly unarmed, which Tazendra didn't trust, while the shorter one stood back, casting some kind of dark spell. Tazendra had her own blade out, but was being uncharacteristically reticent to start attacking. Instead she cast a Stop spell on him.]

Bide, my friend. I have business elsewhere.

I guess you have time mage equipped as well.

[Fai didn't have stop learnt yet instead he casts Haste on both himself and the other so that they could move quicker if needs be. He just hoped they could deal with it sooner.]

I'll try my best with help, however.

[The possessed Loki unleashed his magical attack, at Tazendra, who managed to barely dodge it. She unleashed her own Shock sword magic on him, but the dodge had thrown off her aim that it was a grazing blow]

[Fai held out his gun, firing at what he hoped would be a good idea. the arms or legs, but it didn't seem to cause an awful lot of damage. Maybe this wasn't as helpful as he first thought.]

We will have to hope to return them to stasis.

[At least Tazendra knew one could come out of post-death Crystal Stasis from personal experience. This was not a task she relished, but she thought her friends would be quite put out if they had killed her. Once they woke up, that is. They would probably forgive her if she made it quick.]

[On the other hand, the distraction was enough for the possessed Loki to knock Tazendra down, using her armor and higher center of gravity as leverage. The impact stunned her for a moment, and forced her to have to use the pommel of her sword to attempt to push Loki back, rather than the blade. ]

[This gave her time to rock back onto her feet, at least, but didn't seem to help in the situation.]

Bah. I should have kept my Black Mage's abilities...

I think we're both wishing we had abilities we switched out.

[He wished he had archer or something or maybe it was something that would make this whole situation much easier really. But for now all he could do was fire the gun, they don't even seem to flinch at being shot in the leg. That was worrying.]

I guess they don't feel pain and seem really relentless.

Whatever controls them, yes.

[Her world had necromancy. She'd seen The Necromancer use the bodies of the fallen as shock troops ]

[This time, her Demi spell hit home, though it only staggered Loki. A Shock attack, snapped off under Haste, glanced off his armor. His grab for her didn't manage to close]

Stop that! You will regret this all the more when you wake up.

{Thankfully, Aerich was still frozen by the Stop spell.]

[Fai just aimed his gun, ready to fire again. Sadly he didn't have much in terms of abilities with his Gunner job, but he knew that if he kept firing maybe that would work. So that was exactly what he did.]

It makes you wonder if they really are aware of this going on or not.

[Tazendra considered, and tried a Stop spell of her own to hold Loki, and give them a few moments of breathing room. This meant having a plan.]

Bah. The spells cannot last for long, but we might consider a better means to hold them. Or to kill them

[that wasn't a pleasant thought. Tazendra knew they would come back, but the thought of killing two friends while they were defenseless made her feel physically ill. The only thing that even made it thinkable, albeit horrible, was the certain knowledge that both would rather she not take harm by their hands.]

I do think like us they have a limit before death, but it's finding that limit.

[As much as he would be fine to killing someone, he wanted to know there was a chance of that not having to be the option.]
