Rukia knew nothing about dogs, not even the simple fact that one should offer their hand and allow a dog to sniff it. She was vaguely disappointed that Repede had moved to a place where she couldn't easily look at him, but the feeling passed soon enough.

"You were in the military?" she furrowed her brow, surprised. She knew such an order existed, since she'd read Raven's file and was aware that the older man had served as a captain. But Yuri, an officer? It was difficult to imagine a man like him following anyone's orders but his own. She squinted at him, trying to imagine it. But she failed.

"It's difficult to see you as the military type," she admitted, but he certainly piqued her curiosity. "How old is he now?" Probably only a few years, she'd wager, if only because Yuri was young and couldn't have joined the military himself for more than a few years.
