Summary: Yuri wakes up from the Crystal Stasis and wanders and does what he does daily. There isn't anything special, but there will be interesting responses depending on how he is approached.

{ H O S P I T A L }

[ Yuri found himself awake and sitting up, groggy and a bit stiff due to being in the Crystal Stasis. It took him a moment to realize where he was and that his home was nowhere to be seen. Instead, he was met with the repugnant smell of Hospital Cleanliness. He runs a hand through his messy locks of hair and noticed his sword was at the side of his bed along with Acrisius who was sleeping peacefully at the edge of his bed. The damn furball sure made a guy sentimental. Yuri reached a hand over and petted the moogle on the head as a greeting. ]

Looks like I worried you there, Acrisius.

[ He replied with a brief smile. ]

Woof!

[ Yuri turned around to greet his old friend when he heard a bark, placing his hand on the dog's head as well. ]

Sounds like you've been taken care of in my absence eh? Good to see you're alright Repede. Maybe I should cook you something as compensation for the worry.

{ A Q U R E A N | F O R E S T }

Take that one to the right!

[ As soon as he got back up, Yuri was out doing things again and that included monster hunting alongside his trusty companion. He had suspected that Repede had lost his artes abilities, thus leaving the dog to raw old skills. That meant that he would have to train together with Repede so he would get used to fighting normally. He even gave Repede a knife he had procured a while ago as a gift to the dog.

The dog barks triumphantly as he circles around a monster and slashes its throat, followed by Yuri finishing it off in a matter of seconds. Repede had a few scratches on him but the dog didn't look too worn out. In fact, he might have been happy he was able to do something. It took them a good few hours for Repede to adjust to not having his artes and being subjected to his own raw power. Yuri had to figure out a way to resolve that problem for his dog.

Though, it wasn't like he could use his artes here anyway either. ]

Good job Repede! Now we're getting somewhere.

{ AQ U R E S | I X E N }

[ Yuri was seen in the main area, carrying a bag of groceries and a large dog following him step in step. The large dog appeared to be pretty didgnified as it walked aside it's partner. Somehow, Yuri was even more happy than not to have Repede around. It made things a lot more interesting, even though there were occasions since he got back that he had to chase Repede down because the darn dog was running all over the place. Nevertheless, Yuri was having tons of fun with his dog and there's a stupid grin on his face for it. ]

Well, looks like we'll have to give the old man a visit sometime soon. I wonder if he knew you were here. Then again, who took care of you when I was out anyway? I never did ask that question.

[ Yuri could be seen eating Mabo Curry with Repede eating at the foot of his chair as well. He seemed happy to have human food and he didn't seem to be letting up on being spoiled by Yuri as he ordered another exotic amount of food for the both of them. Being in the Crystal was depressing and he didn't want to think about it. He wondered if he worried anyone, though he doubted anyone would be too over reactive.

However, how mistaken he was to assume such. Either way, he was enjoying a typical day and a typical meal after his long break in the Crystal Stasis. ]

[And as Yuri exits the hospital, a fist meets the back of his head. Lightly. Maybe.]

Says the guy that's been out for months.

[ Sorry to say, Flynn he's not taking your pouting. In fact, he'll just throw his arm around Flynn in a head lock. ]

But as you can see no missing limbs, no problems and definitely not a single injury on this body and if you're going to punch me, do it right.

[ Well, that's one thing interesting to come back to. Repede just watched the two of them with a flat expression. As it goes. ]

Do you know how many people were worried about you? They all came to me, like I could do something about it!

[Flynn laughed as he wrestled with trying to get out of Yuri's headlock.]

Feeling helpless isn't something that feels good.

[Finally free, Flynn gasped for breath and smiled.]

[Yuffie arrives at the Hospital at an odd time today, she usually tries to visit at night but she knows that Acrisius is here and she knows that the guards might not feed him. It takes a moment to go through the guards and when she walks it she grumbling about how stupid it was to keep people out and not the other way around. There is a bag looped around her hand with presumably dog food in it.

It isn't anything fancy.

She doesn't notice that Yuri is awake at first but then she looks up and stops. The bag drops to the floor and it looks like Yuffie's stuck between the choices of hugging him, kicking him or crying.]

Yuri?

[ Acrisius stayed with his brother most of the time when Yuri was out, but he was often hanging around with Yuffie and Rukia due to their closeness to Yuri, his hero. Acrisius was also appreciative that she seemed to always bring things for him from time to time. Alongside that, Acrisius was still sleeping peacefully through the noise, while Repede's ears perked up at the familiar face of the ninja girl that was well around him for some time.

He knew that she had some of Yuri's scent on her, so he identified her as someone Yuri socialized with but he supposed she was close enough to bring him dog food in a sense. He ate it appreciatively, and that might also be the key where Repede had somewhat accepted her presence and not dodging her.

Yuri, however lookoed over at the confused girl as he was pulling himself away from the bed and Repede. There's a moment of silence before she spoke his name and he raised a brow. Though, he could probably imagine what was going to come with his reply, anyway. ]

Yo, Princess. I didn't expect to see you here.

AH!

[There is more than just dog food in the bag but after a seconds thought she just doesn't care. Her confusion shifts to annoyance and anger first.]

That's all you're going to say!? After just going off and getting yourself turned to crystal! Clearly everyone was worried?!

[Yuffie hasn't realized that the little moogle is asleep and her voice is slowly rising in volume.]

Tavern

Yuri was eating, and Raven was drinking. Why? Because the burn of the alcohol warmed him up in this ungodly weather. He was dying here, and the harsh temperatures of winter hadn't let up at all since Yuri's stasis. Raven may have been intoxicated, but he wasn't drunk.

The archer was relieved to see Yuri, though he didn't express it in ernest. Raven always had a feeling he'd come back, this was just sooner than expected. He also didn't expect Repede. Had their companion been here this whole time? Raven never knew.

"Guess I'm next." He chimed, sparking a conversation. If both Flynn and Yuri had succumbed to crystal stasis, that meant he would, in time, too. Raven took a swig from his mug.

Repede was around but he stuck to the people that were hanging out at the hospital area and the Crystal Stasis more often than not. Yuffie had been feeding him too, so he kind of found a good camping place. He had picked up Raven's scent and assumed the man was fine doing his own thing. Repede didn't need to intervene, honestly. He had other things to do than stalk Raven. There was also Flynn. He spent a good time bugging the Imperial Army's Commandant for his own amusement.

He's fine seeing Raven and with one glance from his bowl, the dog continued to eat his food while Yuri looked at him with a raised brow.

"Yo old man, don't go saying depressing stuff like that," he replied giving the man a comment for his words, "Plus, we just all found ourselves together in a small group. Let's not get too sentimental now."

He replied biting into his food.

Ah, he didn't realize how depressing it might have sounded, but then he still had his demons, didn't he? Crystallis didn't serve as a good surrogate for him to overcome his challenge, and with Yuri being out of commission for so long, there was not much to do except for what he already committed to.

"Gonna throw a welcome party ta go with it?" Instead of addressing his issue, he chose to focus on the topic at hand. It was unusual to have more than two people from their world active at a time. Even Repede was present.

Outside the Hospital - December 1st, Morning

There were a lot of preparations for her upcoming journey, and she had a few hours before her ship departed. This first voyage didn't require her to bring a lot, so most of her belongings were still in Raven's closet for the time being. But she'd heard it would be a lot colder in this Santa's Village, so she needed to pick up some warmer winter accessories.

Hoisting up a long striped scarf in her hands, Rukia rubbed the knitting with her fingers to test the tightness of the weave. It seemed to be of good quality, but she wasn't so sure about the clashing green and red colors. It was a little loud for her tastes. Perhaps another...

"M-Miss Rukia!"

Chappopo's paw anxiously tugged on the fur trim of Rukia's red Santa dress, catching the shinigami's attention.

"Mm? What is it?" she asked, looking down, only to see that Chappopo was pointing. She lifted her head to follow the path of the gesture, then blinked...then smiled. Someone had finally shaken off his beauty rest, it seemed. And here he was, walking around as if nothing ever happened. No letter to indicate that he was awake? How long had he been out of stasis, then?! That insufferable...!

Rukia's hand rose into the air, waving back and forth as she forced on the sparkliest, happiest smile she could possibly wear. "YURI!"

Chappopo's eyes were wide and shining. At long last, a heartwarming reunion! Surely this time, the romance would have to flow. Separated, aching with worry, each would bare their hearts and confess their true feelings.

Yuri heard his name and turned at the sight of Rukia and Chapo. The extremely cheerful demeanor she had on her face worried him, seeing he knew Rukia enough to assume that there was a reason behind how seriously happy she looked to see him. Of course, Yuri was also the type that didn't really think about himself too much.

He was alive, and unscathed, so that was all that mattered. Though, he could say that he did upset Yuffie a few moments ago and that probably wasn't the best idea either. That girl could kick, though he was kind of grateful that she didn't kick him. He did apologize at least. Maybe,he shouldn't be to dismissive about himself when it concerned his friends worrying about him.

He raised a hand to greet them, with Repede trotting behind him. Acrisius was passed out on his back, seemingly peaceful after a long month of watching Yuri. He had to admit, the damn moogle was growing on him. He smiled at her and stopped right in front of her as he set his arm down, "Yo, Rukia, Furball, how's it going?"

She ran forward, waving and laughing with saccharine sweetness practically dripping from her voice. If Yuri's instincts weren't already sounding the alarm, surely this would do the trick.

As soon as she reached him, her happy expression turned into fierce anger. She leaped straight up, knee hiking sharply as she tried to slam it into his chin.

DIE.

"You'd better have a damn good explanation for your absence!" And where was the moustache she glued onto his face? He should wear it as a badge of shame for his sinful slumber!

{ Hospital }

[ He would soon discover who had been taking care of both Repede and his Moogle when Sheena entered the room carrying food for the both of them.

After Zelos had disappeared, she had searched for him everywhere she could think of since somehow, these two could always find each other no matter where they were. It had taken her a while to admit the possibility to herself thanks to being stubborn, but she had finally made it to the Stasis Room, and there he was, encased in Crystal and looking...peaceful.

It hadn't taken her long to notice the dog and Moogle keeping watch over Yuri--or that neither one seemed to leave his side. Soon, her visits to Zelos came to include leaving something for the two of them to eat and drink.

Sheena Fujibayashi, Mom to all.

Seeing Yuri, Sheena smiled as she placed the food in its usual spots for the animals. ]

Ah! You're awake!

[ Did she sound genuinely happy? Because she was. ]

[ That explained a shit ton of things that he couldn't quite put his fingers around at the moment. Though, he assumed that Yuffie and the others would have been here time to time as well. He was more quizzical in the woman that was entering theroom carrying food for the both of them.

They only had a brief encounter during the October fiasco and Yuri couldn't quite put his head around everything that happened. However, he remembered they had briefly introduced themselves. What was her name again? It took him a moment before he spoke with a casual, almost dismissively sarcastic reply to her happiness. Man, he sure attracted all kinds of woman.

Yet, he wasn't into them as much as Raven was. ]

Yo, Sheena right?

[ He replied stretching a bit. ]

That does answer the question who our mystery caretaker is.

[ Repede made a disgruntled noise and settled back on the floor as he noticed it was the same person he had seen feeding him. Acrisius was still knocked out soundly sleeping at Yuri's bed. It was strangely awkward to see someone he hardly knew be extremely happy that he's awake or something like that. ]

[ If others had come by, Sheena hadn't seen them. Then again, she hadn't been there 24/7, either--despite how much she wanted to stay there watching over Zelos.

Smiling as he said her name, she nodded. She had a feeling he was confused by her right now, but she'd deal with that later. ]

Right. Sheena Fujibayashi. Nice to meet you again, Yuri.

[ They really hadn't had a chance to exchange pleasantries when they had first met, but Sheena was all for making up for lost time.

Looking at the food and the animals, she nodded. ]

Yeah. That was me. I couldn't see them going hungry or thirsty while they were here.

[ And the staff wasn't doing anything...

She nodded in Repede's direction when he made that sound. ]

Is he always such a grump?

[ She hadn't tried playing with him, but she had spoken to him in a way most humans didn't. Not as a dog, but as an equal, and always leaving him alone when he didn't respond.

The food, however, did disappear when she wasn't looking or was out of the room, which was perfectly fine with her. And why she called him a grump. ]

[Kobato was happily running around wearing the red suit and with a wide bright grin on her face. Every so often she would stop by someone and talk to them, trying her best to spread the Christmas cheer. After all it was a very magical holiday. Running over to Yuri, she had the same bright smile.]

Hello~ Are you on your way home?

[ Yuri raised a brow at her question and wondering why she was dressed so excessively bright during the middle of the day. Repede didn't even appear interested in the stranger, so he trots ahead of them a few steps, leaving Yuri to deal with the strange girl. ]

Something like that. Do you need something?

Do you know all about the holidays this month?

[It seems like the best question to ask at least as she stood there, hands in front of her.]

[Tear had just been finishing up an errand when she found herself crossing paths with Yuri, though she didn't pay him much attention at first. Her mind seems a bit preoccupied, and it's because of that that her response is delayed as she overhears what the dark-haired man said.]

... Your dog was alone? [Sure, this may be her first time meeting Yuri, but the well-being of any dog is Important.]

[ Ah, someone he didn't know was speaking to him and asking about Repede of all things. Of course, Repede just gives her a grunt on the question, while Yuri looked at the dog and then back to the girl that asked him about his dog being alone. ]

Something like that. Though, I hear that a few people I knew were helping while I was out of commission.

[ He replied before adding. ]

Why do you ask?

I was just wondering, he seems well cared for. [And Repede didn't seem as if he resented Yuri at all for it. At this, Tear smiles a little in relief.]

And you made it seem as if you were gone for some time.

[ As Minato's passing by a certain route on the way to get craft supplies, he sees a not-everyday sight of someone chasing down their dog. And during this event, a single fruit goes ahead and tumbles out of its owner's grocery bag, and they seem to have run a short distance ahead, leaving behind the poor neglected foodstuff solitary and on the floor. ... A most tragic mundane thing, being left alone and forgotten.

Thankfully though, they stopped while still in sight. Huh, sure was an excitable pup. He promptly picks up the now slightly bruised fruit and slightly dusts it off, following after the two of them. Would be a shame for this to not get used for whatever recipe intended. ]

[ Yuri finally caught Repede who was gnawing on an apple that he had taken from Yuri moments before he darted off. Yuri didn't have time to see who was there or the fact that they had picked up the precious food that he had bought. Money was a bit scarce at times since he wasn't the type to have a stable job, so Yuri liked to enjoy and cherish the little times when he could buy food.

He was appreciative when the fruit was given back to him by a boy. He looked back at the other for a moment before speaking. ]

Thanks. That's pretty nice of you to chase us all the way here just to return that.

[ He replied as he took the fruit. Repede was done eating and turned to trot back to his owner and now eyeing the unfamiliar boy. ]

[Anise is carrying her own bag of groceries when she catches sight of a familiar face. Actually, it's not the familiar face that grabs her interest, but rather, the dog walking beside of him.]

[She wasn't really a dog person, and the closest thing she ever had to a pet was Mieu, but even she could tell that the dog was really well trained. And was that a pipe in it's mouth?]

[Without really thinking, she finds herself rushing up to Yuri, grocery bags in hand. Her eyes are pretty fixated on Repede.]

Is he yours?

[ Repede was snorting a little before Anise appeared, while Yuri was making a snide comment towards the dog. His ears were alert when he heard a little girl approach him. Of course, it seemed like she was familiar with Yuri and he waved a hand at the girl as she was fixated on his dog.

The dog sure drew a lot of attention but it didn't really bother him. Repede needed to socialize more in his opinion. He did notice she was carrying a bag of groceries herself and he's piqued by it. Lucky for Anise, Repede didn't mind children very much and Anise barely fell under the category. ]

Yo. You could say that. We came from the same place. Though, I still let him do what he wants occasionally.
