Summary: Yuri wakes up from the Crystal Stasis and wanders and does what he does daily. There isn't anything special, but there will be interesting responses depending on how he is approached.

{ H O S P I T A L }

[ Yuri found himself awake and sitting up, groggy and a bit stiff due to being in the Crystal Stasis. It took him a moment to realize where he was and that his home was nowhere to be seen. Instead, he was met with the repugnant smell of Hospital Cleanliness. He runs a hand through his messy locks of hair and noticed his sword was at the side of his bed along with Acrisius who was sleeping peacefully at the edge of his bed. The damn furball sure made a guy sentimental. Yuri reached a hand over and petted the moogle on the head as a greeting. ]

Looks like I worried you there, Acrisius.

[ He replied with a brief smile. ]

Woof!

[ Yuri turned around to greet his old friend when he heard a bark, placing his hand on the dog's head as well. ]

Sounds like you've been taken care of in my absence eh? Good to see you're alright Repede. Maybe I should cook you something as compensation for the worry.

{ A Q U R E A N | F O R E S T }

Take that one to the right!

[ As soon as he got back up, Yuri was out doing things again and that included monster hunting alongside his trusty companion. He had suspected that Repede had lost his artes abilities, thus leaving the dog to raw old skills. That meant that he would have to train together with Repede so he would get used to fighting normally. He even gave Repede a knife he had procured a while ago as a gift to the dog.

The dog barks triumphantly as he circles around a monster and slashes its throat, followed by Yuri finishing it off in a matter of seconds. Repede had a few scratches on him but the dog didn't look too worn out. In fact, he might have been happy he was able to do something. It took them a good few hours for Repede to adjust to not having his artes and being subjected to his own raw power. Yuri had to figure out a way to resolve that problem for his dog.

Though, it wasn't like he could use his artes here anyway either. ]

Good job Repede! Now we're getting somewhere.

{ AQ U R E S | I X E N }

[ Yuri was seen in the main area, carrying a bag of groceries and a large dog following him step in step. The large dog appeared to be pretty didgnified as it walked aside it's partner. Somehow, Yuri was even more happy than not to have Repede around. It made things a lot more interesting, even though there were occasions since he got back that he had to chase Repede down because the darn dog was running all over the place. Nevertheless, Yuri was having tons of fun with his dog and there's a stupid grin on his face for it. ]

Well, looks like we'll have to give the old man a visit sometime soon. I wonder if he knew you were here. Then again, who took care of you when I was out anyway? I never did ask that question.

{ T A V E R N }

[ Yuri could be seen eating Mabo Curry with Repede eating at the foot of his chair as well. He seemed happy to have human food and he didn't seem to be letting up on being spoiled by Yuri as he ordered another exotic amount of food for the both of them. Being in the Crystal was depressing and he didn't want to think about it. He wondered if he worried anyone, though he doubted anyone would be too over reactive.

However, how mistaken he was to assume such. Either way, he was enjoying a typical day and a typical meal after his long break in the Crystal Stasis. ]

[ Repede will let the two of them deal with their business as he was still giving Yuffie's bag a second over. Though, he was a well behaved dog if anything and would wait for his meal-- meaning Yuri should sort this mess out now. ]

Hey, it's not like I asked to be shoved in a Crystal. That stuff is creepy from the sight, and seriously?

[ No seriously, Yuri. ]

Well the old man would be pretty accepting. It's not the first time stuff like this happened, though there's Rukia, and a few others. I'm pretty sure they're fine once they see me. You guys don't need to fret too much.

[ this was minor compared to being stabbed and thrown off the fucking floating piece of land, he'll admit. ]

[Yuffie walks forward until she's standing just in front of Yuri. She's looking up at him, her eyes piercing as she glares.]

I don't care about other people. I was worried about you! You aren't allow to leave!

[She knows what it's like in crystal stasis and it sucks but seeing him just makes her want to cry and she doesn't really want to do that. So instead she's going to yell and scream and be upset by being angry.]

I already lost one Yuri!

[ Oh well, maybe he came off a bit too insensitive to her words. Of course, he started snapping at him. Ah, the good old days of being yelled at by his friends. That part never really changed he runs a hand through his hair and sighs a breath of defeat. ]

Alright, alright, you win.

[ He replied giving her a more serious reply. Of course, his expression gets a bit grim on her comment about losing her other friend named "Yuri." ]

Princess, I'm not that "Yuri," and I sure as hell am not kicking the bucket anytime soon, so you don't have to think I'll be leaving you by yourself again.

[ A hand rests on her head on that comment ]

Sorry, maybe I was a bit insensitive.

[Yuffie isn't ever going to stop yelling at Yuri. Their dynamic just demands that it happens. When he concedes Yuffie feels as if she might cry however the feeling is quickly replaced when he mentions that he isn't that Yuri.

She bites her lower lip feeling her cheeks redden. She hadn't meant it like that but it certainly sounds bad.]

I didn't mean... just that I don't want to lose another friend okay

[The pressure of his hand helps some but she's still a little upset at him. Not to mention that the crystals had come to life a few weeks before.]

I never thought you'd admit to being insensitive.

[ Strangely enough, he's going to have to get used to it since that's what a lot of his friends were doing to him. He really needs to accept that his friends were all seriously worried and care for him. Yuri didn't seem to really care about himself as much as he would like to to be honest.

Yuri ruffles her hair for her red painted face. ]

Yeah, yeah, I get you but like I said, I won't be kicking the bucket that easily. What kind of guy do you take me for anyway?

[ He replied with a raised brow while still heavily ruffling her hair ]

It's a one time thing, so you better take it. I'm pretty capable of a lot of things, Princess.

[It's annoying that Yuri doesn't think of himself because it's making Yuffie feel the need to think about him before herself, which is hardly usual for her. Her arms rest at her sides when his hand ruffles her hair.

He's going to have to brush that.

She lightly pushes his hand out of the way peeking around it.]

I take you for a lazy guy who doesn't like sticking with the same job, who happens to know how to cook, fix roofs and brush hair. Who also has a pet dog that seems to only like him and his friends and his part of a nifty sounding crew.

[She pauses with a smile.]

Did I get it all?

[ He's looking forward to doing things for other people rather than himself. There's a lot of stains in his life and he simply learned to live with it and move on as if it was a natural cycle. He didn't have time to dwell on his own regrets or his actions. Though, it was a lie to say he didn't feel those things. He was just good at keeping them to himself. ]

Sounds about right, so that means I ain't throwing in the towels or kicking any buckets either. So, don't forget that.

[ he finally lets her head go after completely messing her hair up completely. ]

You do know me pretty well. Anyway, how long was I out and what day is it?

[Yuffie's face twists into a distasteful expression as her fingers quickly try and smooth out her hair. Seriously, why does he keep doing that?]

I don't know... it's winter?

[She peeks up at him before trying to find the bag she dropped on the floor. Hopefully the pup hasn't eaten everything in there.]

You missed November.

[ It's a habit and he likes messing with her that way. ]

Yeah, I could have figured that out by the temperature, Princess.

[ No seriously. He gives Yuffie a knowing look before speaking again. ]

November huh? That's what a month?

[Yuffie looking up at him as if the two of them are speaking two different languages.]

You've been out for a month. It's almost time for the star light festival thing again... [Was he around for that last year?]

Or do you need more information?

[ Yuri didn't see anything wrong with his response. If he was out longer, that would have been pretty bad to be honest. ]

Right, that thing and I heard of it, but don't think I was around this time last year or whatever.

[ He dismissively waves. ]

If ya want to enlighten me, Princess.

[She knows more about it this year than she did last year because last year she hadn’t really been paying attention. Stranger thing were happening and she was a little more wrapped up in herself. With a quick nod Yuffie attempts at explaining.]

It’s a time when people celebrate. Like give gifts… last year I got a hair pin… [That she never wore because her hair was too short at the time.] And a really cool blade. [Which she lost.]

I think there are usually parties or festive things going on too.

[ Yuri didn't have these kinds of celebrations in his world, so he's quite clueless to them to be honest. Though, he'll take whatever she has to say about it to heart, maybe. Upon hearing her explanation, he raised a brow. Couldn't they just do that normally? Like if he wanted to buy someone something or make them something, he'd do it and give it to them.

Why would he have to give gifts specifically this time of year? That made no sense,but whatever, not his forte. ]

Sounds like you had a good end of the year last year then. You don't say? I suppose I should look out for them.

Yeah, it's fun.

[She isn't sure if she got great things last year but they are interesting and came from the most unexpecting sources. Personally she doesn't want to get people gifts. It's way to much work.]

There are a lot of weird traditions around it. Last year I just started a snowball fight.

[It was pretty great.]

Fun huh?

[ It didn't sound too "fun" to be honest, but hey to each their own. He doesn't question on the matter anymore than he had to. ]

Now that's what I would call fun. Snow ball fighting!

[ He'd totally mess around doing that. ]

[Yuffie clicked her tongue against the roof of her mouth with a smile. The snow ball fights were good memories… as horribly as some of her tactics went. City wide she had run around and thrown snow balls. No one had been safe and in her excitement she had even been able to nail Cloud in the shower. Plus she got a glimpse of a sight she won’t soon forget.

The little orbs of cold are most definitely Yuffie’s idea of a good holiday.]

It was awesome. [She beams at him.] I won of course.

[Though it’s because she hadn’t given the others much of a chance to fight back. She’d been the only skilled ninja at the time… now the job class makes that less fun because so many people have it. She can’t dash away on rooftops.]

[ Yuri couldn't blame her for the tactics, really. He would have probably played just as dirty when it came to simple games like that. Hopefully, she wasn't aiming to do that again this year. If she was, then he'd have to be majorly prepared for the occasion to be honest. He would rather not get pelted by cold snowballs during the winter time, as humoring as that could be. ]

I bet you did. What kind of ninja tactics did you use to win anyway?

[ He chuckled some at her words. Naturally, it didn't seem strange that Yuffie won. She was a person he assumed to be pretty good at a lot of things. ]

[Yuffie isn't doing that again this year because everyone is probably prepared for it and she doesn't want karma to catch up with her. That'd be really bad considering everything she'd done.]

I was quicker than everyone else... and they might not have known I was there.

[She pauses again.]

I also might have popped out of weird places.

[ True that. He wondered what kind of fun pranks she actually did to other people in absolute detail since it intrigues him. ]

Oh yeah? Well, aren't you quite the ninja?

[ He chuckled a little at her comment. ]

... Define weird...?

[Yuffie chuckles, she will happily take that compliment. She is, after all, the best ninja.]

You know~ Not normal.

[The opposite of weird.

After a second she realizes that might not be an acceptable answer.]

Like shower curtains, the sky... a table?

[Last one's not so weird.]

[ He doesn't doubt it but sometimes he can catch her and doesn't doubt that either. ]

Uh huh.

[ C'mon princess, spit it out! It really isn't since Yuri is giving her the side eyed look. ]

Shower curtains and the sky... yeah the table isn't that weird, but seriously? You sure like taking fun to the next level, Princess!

[Yuffie shrugs.]

No one seems to mind.

[Except they had very much minded.]

Plus I got to see Cloud in the shower.

[She's still proud about that.]

Well I suppose that's a good thing.

[ He replied giving her a look still. ]

You're into that, peeping?

[ Now he's going to just look highly amused. ]

[Yuffie is going to try and play this off the best she can. So she shrugs and turns so that she isn’t looking directly at Yuri. Which means she’s looking towards the rows of Crystalized people.]

I got to piss Tif off when I told her.

She has a thing for Cloud.

[At the time, she had been thirteen and while she had a crush on Zack then, she had no interest in Cloud. It was just to nail him with a snowball where he couldn’t run. It really was innocent. Now however, it was less so. Not that Yuffie makes a habit of peeking in on people.]

[ Yuri watched as her gaze was shot right past him and somewhere else. Well, that's certainly a first, not that he finds it strange. ]

You sure enjoy making people angry sometimes don't you?

[ He chuckled. ]

Doesn't that make the situation even more awkward? Man you really know how to make things amusing.

[ As much as he shouldn't be laughing about this, he is. ]
