Summary: Yuri wakes up from the Crystal Stasis and wanders and does what he does daily. There isn't anything special, but there will be interesting responses depending on how he is approached.

{ H O S P I T A L }

[ Yuri found himself awake and sitting up, groggy and a bit stiff due to being in the Crystal Stasis. It took him a moment to realize where he was and that his home was nowhere to be seen. Instead, he was met with the repugnant smell of Hospital Cleanliness. He runs a hand through his messy locks of hair and noticed his sword was at the side of his bed along with Acrisius who was sleeping peacefully at the edge of his bed. The damn furball sure made a guy sentimental. Yuri reached a hand over and petted the moogle on the head as a greeting. ]

Looks like I worried you there, Acrisius.

[ He replied with a brief smile. ]

Woof!

[ Yuri turned around to greet his old friend when he heard a bark, placing his hand on the dog's head as well. ]

Sounds like you've been taken care of in my absence eh? Good to see you're alright Repede. Maybe I should cook you something as compensation for the worry.

{ A Q U R E A N | F O R E S T }

Take that one to the right!

[ As soon as he got back up, Yuri was out doing things again and that included monster hunting alongside his trusty companion. He had suspected that Repede had lost his artes abilities, thus leaving the dog to raw old skills. That meant that he would have to train together with Repede so he would get used to fighting normally. He even gave Repede a knife he had procured a while ago as a gift to the dog.

The dog barks triumphantly as he circles around a monster and slashes its throat, followed by Yuri finishing it off in a matter of seconds. Repede had a few scratches on him but the dog didn't look too worn out. In fact, he might have been happy he was able to do something. It took them a good few hours for Repede to adjust to not having his artes and being subjected to his own raw power. Yuri had to figure out a way to resolve that problem for his dog.

Though, it wasn't like he could use his artes here anyway either. ]

Good job Repede! Now we're getting somewhere.

{ AQ U R E S | I X E N }

[ Yuri was seen in the main area, carrying a bag of groceries and a large dog following him step in step. The large dog appeared to be pretty didgnified as it walked aside it's partner. Somehow, Yuri was even more happy than not to have Repede around. It made things a lot more interesting, even though there were occasions since he got back that he had to chase Repede down because the darn dog was running all over the place. Nevertheless, Yuri was having tons of fun with his dog and there's a stupid grin on his face for it. ]

Well, looks like we'll have to give the old man a visit sometime soon. I wonder if he knew you were here. Then again, who took care of you when I was out anyway? I never did ask that question.

{ T A V E R N }

[ Yuri could be seen eating Mabo Curry with Repede eating at the foot of his chair as well. He seemed happy to have human food and he didn't seem to be letting up on being spoiled by Yuri as he ordered another exotic amount of food for the both of them. Being in the Crystal was depressing and he didn't want to think about it. He wondered if he worried anyone, though he doubted anyone would be too over reactive.

However, how mistaken he was to assume such. Either way, he was enjoying a typical day and a typical meal after his long break in the Crystal Stasis. ]

I can imagine why. [Not that they had any control over crystal stasis, or any that they knew of, but it was entirely too easy to understand why they might have such extreme reactions.]

Ah, Yuri and Repede? [Tear straightens herself up to her full height, extending a hand politely to the man.] I'm Tear, I don't believe we've met at all before, how long have you been in Crystallis?

Yeah it's not something too hard to imagine.

[ She's got a point. There's no use dwelling on it. Yuri couldn't stop the inevitable. He's only human after all and he knew that this world had its own set of rules and things that happen. For whatever reason, they still didn't go well with him. ]

That's right.

[ He replied with a nod of his head. She had an interesting posture, much like Flynn. Of course, he didn't say anything but responded to her word. ]

Nice to meet you Tear. I think it's the first time we've met. About a month give or take.

A month? [Did that mean he had really only been here a month before succumbing to crystal stasis? How unfortunate...

Sine he hadn't taken her hand she lowers it quietly, not at all offending. It wasn't terribly important whether he had take it or not.] I can see why we haven't met before then, I would like to think I would remember meeting either one of you.

[ Well he was in the Crystal Stasis for a month. Maybe that's not what she's asking. ]

Well, I've been here a while. It's been a month since I've been shoved in that Crystal Stasis if that makes any sense.

[ He replied with a shrug. Somehow it's not that hard to answer the subtle questions that were asked to him. She seemed like she was curious. ]

We kind of do our thing and Repede just showed up recently. I'm not much of a team player to be honest, much less following laws or rules.

It does... [ Though the fact she that there are still Heroes around that she hadn't even encountered before was embarrassing, a lapse in her desire to keep watch over the happenings around her.

On the topic of not being a law-abiding citizen, however, she can't quite help the tiny frown settling on her lips. If he didn't work well in a team that was on him, but some of the implications of the latter... ]

It's your decision to live as you want to, but I hope it doesn't involve inconveniencing others in ways that can be harmful to them.

[ He doesn't say anything for a moment, but she's free to think what she wants. He's not really out to ensure that he has a good track record. Yuri was the type to take responsibility for his own actions and never let others be blamed for his own misfortunes. He can see the frown on her face and he certainly hoped that she wasn't going to nag him about what was right or wrong. He didn't need to hear it from another person about his actions. ]

Not at all. I do what I must for the better of others than myself. I'm not the type to drag others into my business if you catch my drift.

[ Fortunately for Yuri, that was all the answer Tear needed in order to stop her nagging before it even began. Still, it made her wonder just what he would think of her position as a soldier dedicated to upholding the law. ]

I think I 'catch your drift,' I'll just have to hope it's true.

[ Good for him honestly. He didn't really need to explain all his motives and reasoning to anyone he didn't know well to be honest. She was good at leaving it as is. ]

Don't worry about it. I'm the kind of person who holds onto their words. I will make it happen.

I'll just have to trust you with that, I guess. [ It wouldn't serve anyone if she were to become suspicious of any Heroes who happened to have their more questionable methods of doing things. And compared to a few others she has met, Yuri seemed tame in comparison. ]

Happenings with the law aside, what else do you intend to do now that you're awake? There's probably things you need to make up for.

It's up to you if you want to trust me or not.

[ The young man replied giving her a shrug of his shoulders. He supposed he was pretty tamed. At least, for now anyway. He's no opposed to ]

Well, who knows. The first thing is getting back in shape and probably apologizing to folks for worrying them.

[ He mused with a laugh. ]

Well, I thank you for granting me that privilege. [ With the flat tone she spoke with, maybe the fact she was joking would get across. ]

Getting back into shape? [ Unless he meant simply getting used to motion again after being frozen in position for so long, rather than anything having to do with atrophy. He certainly looked fit, at least. ]

It's not really a privilege. You have a right to make your judgement right?

[ He mused giving her a brief smile. ]

Yeah, you know training, and practicing the art of the sword-- the kind of typical things a freelancer like me would do.

[ Yuri added as she seemed confused with his statement. ]

I guess that is true. [ Tear found herself returning the smile with a small one of her own without even meaning to, which was why it only lasted for so long once she caught on. ]

I see. I wasn't aware there were more freelancers among the Heroes, but each person would have their own way of doing what they want to with their time.

You don't have to be so formal. Rather, I'd like it if you'd just talk normally. I'm not anymore special than the next person.

[ He replied after a moment was pretty pleased that the girl finally cracked a small smile. ]

Yeah, I pretty much do what I want with my job classes. I do grunt work for money etc. It's easier than being tied down to something.

Talk normally? [ If Tear happens to sound puzzled, it's because she is; she hadn't realised she'd been addressing so formally, given it had been some time since she had had to talk to someone so casually.

Or perhaps it was the responsible side of her trying to break through. Nevertheless, the girl takes a moment to breathe deeply, hoping that it might help her in talking more 'normally.' ]

Sorry, I didn't know I'd been talking to you that way. [ But isn't it the polite thing to do anyway? ] But what about when there's no jobs to take up? What do you do when you aren't working?

[ See, she's trying to be more casual. ]

Yeah, normally.

[ Did she not notice or was it just the way she talked. What a strange girl. Then again, Yuri wasn't normal either. He's quite a strange one compared to many people that he knew, anyway. ]

I do little side jobs. Someone's cat gets stuck in a tree, I'll get it or if I got to repair a leaking roof etc. It's not as hard as it sounds. There's plenty of things to do for the residents here.

[ He replied with a brief smile when she asked. Yuri was fine with the trying. It's good that she's trying. ]
