Summary: Yuri wakes up from the Crystal Stasis and wanders and does what he does daily. There isn't anything special, but there will be interesting responses depending on how he is approached.

{ H O S P I T A L }

[ Yuri found himself awake and sitting up, groggy and a bit stiff due to being in the Crystal Stasis. It took him a moment to realize where he was and that his home was nowhere to be seen. Instead, he was met with the repugnant smell of Hospital Cleanliness. He runs a hand through his messy locks of hair and noticed his sword was at the side of his bed along with Acrisius who was sleeping peacefully at the edge of his bed. The damn furball sure made a guy sentimental. Yuri reached a hand over and petted the moogle on the head as a greeting. ]

Looks like I worried you there, Acrisius.

[ He replied with a brief smile. ]

Woof!

[ Yuri turned around to greet his old friend when he heard a bark, placing his hand on the dog's head as well. ]

Sounds like you've been taken care of in my absence eh? Good to see you're alright Repede. Maybe I should cook you something as compensation for the worry.

{ A Q U R E A N | F O R E S T }

Take that one to the right!

[ As soon as he got back up, Yuri was out doing things again and that included monster hunting alongside his trusty companion. He had suspected that Repede had lost his artes abilities, thus leaving the dog to raw old skills. That meant that he would have to train together with Repede so he would get used to fighting normally. He even gave Repede a knife he had procured a while ago as a gift to the dog.

The dog barks triumphantly as he circles around a monster and slashes its throat, followed by Yuri finishing it off in a matter of seconds. Repede had a few scratches on him but the dog didn't look too worn out. In fact, he might have been happy he was able to do something. It took them a good few hours for Repede to adjust to not having his artes and being subjected to his own raw power. Yuri had to figure out a way to resolve that problem for his dog.

Though, it wasn't like he could use his artes here anyway either. ]

Good job Repede! Now we're getting somewhere.

{ AQ U R E S | I X E N }

[ Yuri was seen in the main area, carrying a bag of groceries and a large dog following him step in step. The large dog appeared to be pretty didgnified as it walked aside it's partner. Somehow, Yuri was even more happy than not to have Repede around. It made things a lot more interesting, even though there were occasions since he got back that he had to chase Repede down because the darn dog was running all over the place. Nevertheless, Yuri was having tons of fun with his dog and there's a stupid grin on his face for it. ]

Well, looks like we'll have to give the old man a visit sometime soon. I wonder if he knew you were here. Then again, who took care of you when I was out anyway? I never did ask that question.

{ T A V E R N }

[ Yuri could be seen eating Mabo Curry with Repede eating at the foot of his chair as well. He seemed happy to have human food and he didn't seem to be letting up on being spoiled by Yuri as he ordered another exotic amount of food for the both of them. Being in the Crystal was depressing and he didn't want to think about it. He wondered if he worried anyone, though he doubted anyone would be too over reactive.

However, how mistaken he was to assume such. Either way, he was enjoying a typical day and a typical meal after his long break in the Crystal Stasis. ]

[ Now it was Sheena's turn to wave a hand. ]

Don't mention it. I was happy to do it. Besides, Corrine and your Moogle would talk occasionally.

[ And on cue, Sheena Moogle came flying in and settled on her shoulder before waving at Yuri with a happy "Kupo!"

Hearing the snort from Repede, Sheena looked from him to Yuri, concerned. ]

I think you're right.

[ Then, doing something that probably surprised both of them, she got to her knees so she could look the dog in the eye. ]

I'm sorry, Repede. I really didn't mean to offend you; I sometimes just say what comes to mind without thinking. [ At least she was honest. ] You just remind me of a good friend back home.

[ Kratos... ]

[ He chuckled at her dismissive wave. Well, maybe she's not so bad. ]

Acrisius seems to make friends pretty easy with his personality. I'm glad to hear he was able to speak with Corrine normally. He can be a bit awkward sometimes-- that furball.

[ He replied, resting a hand on the sleeping moogle's head a moment before turning to give Corrine a wave of his own. ]

Of course I am. I always know what Repede's thinking! [ It's a joke, but it's partially true. The dog merely gave Yuri a huge nudge for that bad joke and he stumbles forward. ]

...

[ Repede turns to Sheena as she apologized to him, the pipe in his mouth, never really moving, except when he re-positioned it to the corner of his mouth. At least she gets a nicer bark of acceptance, followed by him looking directly at her as if he understood, though he's still going to be a grump. ]

Woof.

[ She has her moments, though... ]

Corrine's pretty outgoing, too. He tries to make friends wherever he goes. If Acrisius had been awkward, Corrine probably had looked beyond it. [ Much like she does at times. She reaches up to scratch the Moogle behind the ear, and he responds with a soft "kupo" and a flutter of his wings.

Still on her knees in front of Repede when he nudges Yuri, she looks from the dog to the man, her eyes sparkling with humor. ] I'm not sure, but I think he disagrees with you.

[ Said totally deadpan--mostly. She turns back to Repede to hide the smile forming, she nods at the nicer bark, letting her smile finally grow. ]

Thanks.

[ She has no idea if that's the right thing to say, but it seems appropriate and is the polite thing to do. ]

[ Doesn't everyone? ]

I'm glad to hear. Thanks for being friends with Acrisius, Corrine. It's much appreciated.

[ He'll give the moogle a pat on the head too for good work. He's starting to get used to these things. At first he thought they were annoying, but he's learning about them and such, thus his views are sort of shifting a little for them.

Yuri just gave Repede a look for his shove. ]

Yeah, he does but I do get him most of the time.

[ He replied eyeing Repede, and he just shifts the pipe in his mouth. Repede doesn't get it either, but he's just going to roll with it. ]

[ Very true. Hers are usually loud, though.

With a quiet "kupo" and what sounds like a purr, Corrine accepted the pat to his head before flying off to sit next to his Moogle friend.

And if he doesn't fall asleep, Sheena will be very surprised...

Finally getting to her feet, Sheena nods. ]

I can actually believe that. I have a friend who has basically the same relationship with his dog. [ Okay, so Noishe isn't exactly a dog, but she's not about to explain that. ] Although, Noishe is a bit more...verbal. [ He likes to whine... ]

[ Yuri laughed a little at the creature's response. Of course, he was starting to get used to having them around and he wasn't so mean to them as he was previously. Though, he still kept wary airs about Rukia's moogle, Chapopo, who seemed to be all over his business recently. Anyway, he sets that thought aside as watches the girl gets back on her feet. ]

Oh yeah? That's not too bad. He practically grew up around me, so it's not hard to know what he wants sometimes. Though, I guess getting bit is a form of love too.

[ He shrugged a bit as he pats the dog's head a bit roughly, only to have Repede nip him in response. ]

Verbal huh? How so?

[ Sheena chuckles fondly at Corrine's response, thankful that Yuri's reaction was just as friendly. If she had thought he was being derisive towards Corrine...

Let's just say it's a good thing they're in a hospital right now.

But he hadn't, and she continues smiling at him--her eyes widening. ]

Really? That must be it, then! Lloyd and Noishe have been together for a long time, too. [ Okay, so Noishe is older and Lloyd's the one who grew up, but again, she doesn't have to go into it. Besides, it's the same bond.

Although... ] Repede bites you? [ Okay, she's trying not to laugh, but she can't help smiling. It is a form of love. ]

Noishe doesn't bite, but he does whine a lot. [ She holds her hands up to the sides of her head and begins waving her fingers. ] And flaps his ears, too.

[ True enough. Yuri didn't see any reason to mistreat her moogle, when he worked hard to take care of his. The other moogle also seemed a lot calmer than the ones he had dealt with in the past. He would rather not have to deal with some bad consequences for getting on Sheena's bad side. ]

Lloyd huh? Can't say I've heard of that name before, but it sounds like he's got a pretty good relationship with his pet too.

[ Yuri can appreciate good relationships with pets. ]

Yeah he does it when he feels like it. I think I slapped him in my sleep a few times in the past. He bit me to teach me a lesson. He's quite the disciplinarian!

[ He replied with a huge grin on his face and Repede just stared at him like he was preparing to bite off his hand again. ]

That's an interesting response. I don't think Repede can do that much.

[ Corrine was a lot like Sheena. Calm until things got out of hand or he felt someone was being threatened--like his Hero. Then he became a feisty little thing that needed Sheena to intervene sometimes.

And if Corrine was a lot like Sheena...then Yuri staying off her bad side was a good choice. ]

Yeah, Lloyd. I keep meaning to check to see if he's been here--after Zelos...uh... [ She trailed off, not finishing the sentence. ] I just haven't had the time. [ Translation: She was afraid to. ]

Repede? Did you bite Yuri? [ She chuckled. ] You should meet my friend Raine. You want to talk about disciplining someone...

She kicks and hits.

[ She looked at the dog and smiled. ] Why should he be able to do what Noishe did? Noishe is Noishe and Repede is Repede. They each have abilities the other doesn't and can do things the other can't.

Right?

[ That made sense. Acrisius was pretty much his best friend in moogle form. He’s not entirely sure that’s a good thing but the darn thing grew on him and he’s fond of it for the most part now.

At least, he doesn’t nag him too much about the things he did. ]

After he went kaput in the Crystal Stasis again right? The red haired guy who acted like he’s more delicate than he appears?

[ As in Yuri had a good conversation and engagement with him for a short time before watching him get tossed in the Crystal Stasis and then repeating the process again a second time. He remembers the name at least. Not that he ever used Zelos’ name. Both Flynn and Yuri had fun calling him “Princess,” since their engagement in the lock down when they first came to this world. ]

Probably best for you not to go into those places. It usually can do numbers to people. Especially, if you’re close to them or they have some sort of significant feelings for them. It’s also kind of creepy if you ask me.

[ He shrugged some at the thought. ]

Woof.

[ Repede sounded darn proud about it as he barked in response ]

I wouldn’t want to. The last thing I need is more aggressively abusive female comrades. I’ll pass. That’s not exactly what I meant, but Repede’s Repede. That’s for sure. I’d probably wouldn’t want him to be similar to any other animal to be honest. It’s kind of hard to find a talented pup like Repede.

[ He replied with a chuckle before patting the dog’s head. ]

[ Sheena considered it a good thing because in a way, Corrine reminded her both of home and who she truly was. And that was fine with her.

She gave Yuri a look at his description about what had happened to her friend...

Right before she burst out laughing. ]

Now, he's a friend, and I should defend him, but that's him! Stronger than he appears and definitely not as delicate as he claims.

[ Oh dear Martel, don't tell her about calling him "Princess". Not only will she laugh herself silly over it, but if or when he ever comes back, she'd probably slip and call him that.

Looking out the door, her smile faded as she nodded. ]

Yeah. That was another reason. Seeing their names on a list means they're here, but as long as I don't know... Then they're safe at home. [ Well, relatively.

Repede's response to her question brought her smile back, and she reached down to scratch behind his ears. ]

"Aggressively abusive"? Yeah... that sounds like Raine. [ And her. *cough* ] Huh? Oh. Sorry. I guess part of what we fought against back home is still with me. But you're right, Repede is who he is, and I fear for anyone who tried to change that.

[ Because she was sure the dog would have something sharp to say about that. ]

[ Yuri could make really awful jokes but at least this one was good enough for her to snicker about. He didn't want to see someone feel gloomy or look gloomy. He's pretty sure the guy in the Crystal Stasis was as strong as Flynn. He'll come back eventually one day anyway. ]

Good to know. That means I'll have to make sure to work his ass harder the next time he complains about me being too aggressive.

[ He replied still grinning. Yuri would definitely call him princess. On top of that Zelos seemed to have enjoyed it and played along anyway. ]

Sounds about right.

[ The dog stared back at her seriously as she scratched him behind the ears but he made no effort to move. ]

I think they'd get bitten to death by his fangs if anything. Repede's not a push over and yeah Aggressively abusive. Raine?

[ Oh... Now she didn't know if she should laugh or not. ]

I'll deny I said anything when he does. [ Yes, "when". Because he would complain. She just knew it.

Returning Repede's look with one of her own, she continued the scratching of the ears, nodding at Yuri's comment. ]

That really wouldn't surprise me if he did. [ Giving him one final scratch, she stood and met Yuri's gaze. ]

Raine. She uh, had a habit of hitting people to get a point across. [ Namely her brother. ] Didn't mean they always got it, though.

[ Whatever makes her happy, really. Yuri was the type to be pretty mean when he wants to be. There's more reasons to mess with allies and friends than anything. ]

Oh, will you now? I suppose I can say I got that info from the grape vine somewhere.

small>[ He laughed some more. The dog seemed to like it enough to let her play with his ears and such while Yuri was thinking of ways to mess with people. ]

Nah not at all.

[ Yuri watched as Repede rolled back to his side after she was done.

Isn't that fun? I'll be sure to keep an eye out for her. I'd rather not add more violent people to my list of friends if you know what I mean.

[ Poor Zelos. between her whapping him, and Yuri being mean to him, the guy probably didn't stand a chance. ]

Yes, I will. [ She just hoped Zelos wouldn't figure out just who that grapevine was.

And just keep plotting, Yuri; she was having a ball playing with Repede, raising one eyebrow when he rolled on his side.

Gee, must have worn him out...

She gives him an innocent look. ]

No... I don't know what you mean. [ Yes, she does. ] Besides, you can always distract Raine by mentioning the word "ruin".
