The Starlights in your Celebration

Who: The Adventurer and You
What: Gift Giving for the Holidays with bonus Friendly Monster
When: December 5th
Where: Region of Trano Golsaucia
Warnings: Bring a candle or a fire or something. Keep the friendly monster encounter to 1 continuous tag please.

It wasn't to say that Meteor wasn't excited for this.

He was INCREDIBLY EXCITED.

When the call came to be the Saint, or Santa Claus as they were calling him here, he had immediately took the job and went to the area. Putting his meager crafting skills to good use, he had built a pile of small toys and meals to be distributed in the area.

Dressed in his finest which was happily reminiscent of his original Starlight Celebration outfit, he was to say the least, thrilled to be ready for the event which would be peppered by a little monster following close behind, seemingly wanting to ask him something.

At one point, he would be approached by said Monster, and anyone with him can reap the benefit of the reward.

"Wow, you... You look quite happy about this, hm?"

Near Meteor is Tsubomi, a Chocobo or two nearby looking around. "What are you doing so far?"

"I am completely excited for this," replied Meteor, hefting a bag over his shoulder.

"The Starlight Celebration is my favorite holiday of the entire year, and its finally time. And being able to distribute things is even more fun."

Zelda was also wearing her holiday best, a velvet red dress with the iconic Santa hat. Her lips curl into a warm smile seeing the other two as she waves and comes over. She has her loftwing with her, using the large blue bird to carry bags as well as herself.

"You look wonderful." Zelda nodded towards Meteor's attire. She had wanted to see it since he mentioned it at the party. She then looked over at Tsubomi with a warm smile. "Are you staying warm?" If not she has a few extra scarfs, gloves and hats that she's made.

"Thank you Zelda!" Exclaimed Meteor with a wide smile.

"It seems like we've gotten a lot of good things going for us today. There's plenty of gifts to go around after all."

Three people. Perhaps one of these people could keep it warm...? The Nu was curious, watching the trio there...

"Mmn, I am, for now...!" Tsubomi said, nodding at Zelda's concern. "I hope everyone else here is, too, though."

Zelda appeared confident and while she had sent out gifts over Mognet she had something special for her two friends here. Honestly Meteor had given her the idea. She held out two very small brightly colored packages. “I wanted to give you two these as well.” She had a few more in her bag but she’d hand those out in due time. If they open the small gift they will find fake white bushy mustaches.

It’s really all Meteors fault.

A slight chill moved down Zelda’s spine and she turned towards the bright prying eyes of the Nu. Her fingers quickly closed her small bag looking over at the creature curiously. She didn’t remember seeing anything like that before. Maybe it wants a mustache too?

Meteor did open his and he laughed before taking it out and fixing it to his upper lip. "How do I look?" He said with a impish grin.

Noticing Zelda's gaze, he blinked. "Well that's new," he said with surprise. Most monsters would flee having been found out, but the Nu rubbed its paws gently.

"Hello there, little one. Did you need something?" he asked, erring on the side of caution.

Tsubomi chuckled at the sigh of the gift. It was cute and yet it seemed like something Erika would have done.

Finding the other two looking downward, Tsubomi followed suit and blinked seeing the Mu.

"Oh, my!"

She'd been looking to gather ideas for fashionable items to create, but spotting the others grouped together was enough distraction for K'pandolu to drift closer. "What have you all found…?"

She peered at the Mu, ears flicking back. Another beastkin- not a hamster, though, she was fairly sure. And the others would have been more concerned if it were- or if it were attacking-

She dropped to one knee, holding her hand out, and waited to see what would come next.

"Is it a friendly one?"

Zelda asked curiously. She bent down and held out a shiny silver package to the little creature. Of course it has a mustache in it but it's still a gift and Zelda is always happy to share with others.

"I don't suppose, you can make me a fire?" Squeaked the Nu as it rubbed its paws.

"A fire? Of course we can, right everyone?" He reached into his bag and started rooting around in it. "I have some tinder..."

"I have a few fire spells, but I've never tried it like this before." Tsubomi admitted. "Better now than never, hm?"

K'pandolu flicked an ear towards the girl, straightening. "It's perhaps not the trial I would have picked for it," she observed dryly.

… K'pandolu, you decided to try lighting candles when you did it, are you sure you can talk.

"We should gather some fuel, then." Lighting a fire would fulfil the creature's request, but that didn't seem very satisfactory to her. She glanced at the others for their response, ready to move.

"I have that." She smiled at K'pandolu.

Zelda took the present in her hand and kneels on the snowy ground. She tore at the wrapping placing it into a ball and then ripped pieces of the cardboard box that held the silly little present. She put the mustache on top and then looked at the other three.

"You can light it?" Her bright blue eyes shifted to Tsubomi first but then to Meteor since they both said they might be able to light it.

"I have a tinder box," said Meteor, bending down to place a small still-glowing coal at the base of it. "But a little fire magic would also be useful."

"R-Right..." Quickly nodding, Tsubomi use the weaker "Fire" spell to help make the fire better.

"Shouldn't we sustain it for a little while…?" The cardboard didn't look as though it was going to last too long, after all.

Well, if she was the one concerned about that, she'd handle it. "I'll be back soon." And off she went for a few little pieces that looked useful.

Zelda smiled after her friend as the fire flared to life in front of her. She looked over at the little Mu who wiggled towards the flame with a happy bounce.

"I hope this is alright." She asked the creature kindly.

The Mu hopped towards the fire and rubbed its paws in delight. "This is nice! Is your friend getting more fire? Can you make it bigger?"

"I think we can manage that," said Meteor with a smile. "Lets make this a nice big fire for our friend here."
