Before Night Falls (Open post)
Characters: Angeal Hewley and anyone that would notice him gone or notice the break in his routines.
Where: Start in Aqures Ixen in the Residential areas and then Ends in the forest just outside of town.
When: October 28th.
Summary: It's Angeal's Reunion and it's not a pretty sight.
Warning: Weird things happen whenever genetics decide to play up and pick things out of Darwin's grab bag.
These past two weeks had put Angeal outside of reach. He felt the gnawing sensations gnashing and clawing, the monster inside was trying to break free. Just two days ago, the white streaks in his hair made him realize that there was something seriously wrong.
He had said nothing to Zack and it felt like a knife in his gut that he had to leave his friend again. In the night, he quietly slipped away with no note left behind and no way to contact him. Mogington was worried, clearly, and followed after Angeal. "What's wrong, kupo?"
Angeal said nothing to Mogington but instead he pushed the moogle away in a manner unlike anything Angeal had ever done. He didn't want the moogle to get involved. First, the wings sprouted from his back and left behind a trail of feathers from the residential area to the edge of the forest. With each step, excruciating pain followed. He was shifting into a monstrous form and Mogington watched it all in horror that he couldn't do anything to help his hero.
Mogington flew off to find anyone that could help and his first four contacts were Zack, Sephiroth, Genesis and Genny. "Angeal's in trouble, kupo!"
Meanwhile, Angeal found a space under fallen trees and made his way inside the space to keep himself from view of others. It wasn't so much hiding out of shame, he was trying to keep himself away for the sake of others. It hurt that he had to do this but his humanity had begun to slip away.

Spencer / Mogington - A-02
Sephiroth was gone, and Angeal had left the city. It was a hard day for them both and with the various murders and injuries, it was a surprise that Mogington himself wasn't injured for making his way through the residential streets. He was smart enough to keep going and do what he was determined to do and that was his job. Perhaps it was luck that made him get this far but for now his main concern was his friend.
"It's me, Mogington, kupo. Did he...?" Mogington didn't want to ask the obvious without sounding callous. "Is he...?"
Spencer / Mogington - A-02
"He just fell asleep Mogington. I didn't know what to do. Then he stopped-" Spencer nearly choked on the next word. "He just went away, just like that."
Spencer / Mogington - A-02
"I-I'm so sorry, Spencer." He chocked. Losing anyone close always hurt even if they didn't know them long. Mogington was quick to pull a handkerchief from his bag and handed it to Spencer. Angeal was always lecturing the moogle to be prepared for anything.
"I don't know what to do either, kupo. Angeal will know..." His voice trailed off to prevent from pulling Spencer away from his fallen hero so soon after his death. It didn't seem right to leave Sephiroth. It was strange how mourning worked.
Spencer / Mogington - A-02
"You're right, Kupo. I-"
Spencer knew that Mogington was right, he was hardly doing any good sitting here in the wake of Sephiroth's death as if he might just sit back up and it would be fine. They needed to go. For sure Angeal would know what to do, if they could find him. Spencer pushed his glasses back up his stub of a nose, stood and turned back to the body in the bed-
Which in the meantime had vanished. Spencer hunched over and started to whine quietly into the handkerchief again.
"Just like that Kupo! He's gone. He's one of the strongest. We- we need to get to the Crystal-"
Near-hysterical, or perhaps Spencer simply didn't know that dead Heroes weren't re-appearing by the Crystal of Fire anymore.
Spencer / Mogington - A-02
"Okay, let's go." Mogington shuddered as he took in a deep breath. Just like that, they could all be gone and their jobs would be no more. It was a sad way to think about these things but it was the truth, nonetheless.
"Maybe we'll see Angeal there too, kupo."
Spencer / Mogington - A-02
Or at least these were the things that Spencer was trying to get his head around; Crystal physics were hardly an exact and explored science in the World.
He perked up noticeably when Mogington prompted for them to go. Yes, it wouldn't do him any good at all to hang around here in the empty room. Though Spencer spun into the air, looked at the long Masamune blade which was rested against the side of the wardrobe -with it's point arched towards the sky- then to the jacket which was hung on the outside door of the same. Should he try to take these things with him? It didn't seem right to leave Sephiroth's room without his things.
"Kupo!" He agreed, wholeheartedly and instantly a little less sad now that he had some goal in mind. "But Mogington, what about his things? Where should they go?"
Spencer / Mogington - A-02
"Why don't we take his things to him? I can carry them. After all," Mogington flexed his small moogle muscles, "I'm living with one of the biggest with a heart just as big. How 'bout it, kupo? We shouldn't let Sephiroth-hero get cold again, right?"
Spencer / Mogington - A-02 [moogles are too cute!]
"Lets take the coat then, Kupo. As long as I'm not bothering you with a task that I should really be able to do." The broken paw was more a hindrance than Spencer liked at all. He couldn't help thinking that half of the reason why his Hero had died might be down to Spencer's disability in being able to care for him.
"Angeal wouldn't mind, would he?" Though if Spencer thought about it he really already knew the answer to that one.
Spencer / Mogington - A-02 [moogles are too cute!]
"He wouldn't mind." For now, keeping Spencer out of danger was his priority especially if there was something out there killing moogles. Then an idea popped into his head. "Why don't we put the coat on so that way whatever is killing us little moogles won't want to come near us. Who would attack a flying coat?"
Spencer / Mogington - A-02
"That's an excellent idea Kupo." Spencer pushed his specs back up his button nose and flitted towards the leather jacket, waiting for Mogington to take the side that was the other side of the door. They would lift the coat together, one mog-head into each shoulder. It was the perfect disguise really, and was really a great way to get it to the Crystal of Fire.

He nodded his fluffy head and made an approving grunt, "Of course! Sephiroth wouldn't want any wrinkles in is coat, so why not!"
He ducked his head under the shoulder to ready himself to hoist the coat up. "Ready? One, two, three, up!"
