Christmas Party & Cheer

WHO: OPEN
WHEN: FORWARD DATED: December 22nd
WHERE: Christmas Town
WHAT: Celebrating the snow, the holidays, good cheery, warm fires and friends.
WARNING: Mistletoe?

With Rukia's help they were able to find a large enough hall in Christmas Town to throw the party. Zelda had set it for this day since a group of brave heroes were going to set out on the 24th. She had made sure that everything was perfect and of course everyone was invited. There were at least six decorated trees with polished silver and gold ornaments hanging from their branches. Scarlet red ribbons decorated the trees and tables with large bows tying the streaming trails together.

There was one very large tree at the halls center and there were a few presents around the bottom for those who needed a place to put gifts. At it's top was a large pointed star.

Champagne and small finger snacks were set on the tables and a part of the room was cleared for those who wanted to dance. Zelda was even able to hire a few people to play Christmas songs throughout the night. There was a table dedicated to sweets with cookies, cakes, small pies and other wonderful treats spread out for people to try.

Among the decorations was mistletoe. This little plant hung above the doorways waiting for any pair who happens to be caught in their hold. Most of the mistletoe was thanks to Minako but Zelda might have put up one sprig at the entrance to the party; it's all in good fun and kisses on the hand or cheek are perfectly acceptable.

[ooc: feel free to make open posts and tag around! It's a party!]

Maybe. But you can all still do more than most can, kupo. I wish I could be a Hero too and fight alongside you all, kupo.

[A flying moogle with a knife can only do so much damage, even with the help of gravity.]

You're doing plenty already. Mognet gives us a way to communicate quickly. That's very important when you're fighting a battle.

Thank you, kupo. If there's one thing all moogles all agree on it's how important letters are, kupo. We love to receive them after all, kupo.

[The little moogle flutters around, punching her paws in the air.]

Some others say I'm silly for wanting to learn to fight too. I know I'm tiny, kupo, but I can still do some damage~ Nobody expects a moogle sneak attack, kupo~

Keep training hard. I'm sure you'll be a brave and strong warrior if you do.

Thank you, kupo. Mary has taught me a lot about mobility and attacking my enemy from where they don't expect, kupo.

[Considering her small size, attacking from above has actually proven useful in the few fights she's gotten into. She's about to turn and leave but then she stops and looks at Pyrrha. She doesn't know much about the newer Hero yet but she does seem like a very strong warrior in how she carries herself.]

Um, sorry for asking, kupo, but do you have any advice for fighting someone bigger than me, kupo?

For a larger opponent, it's important to keep moving and to use its momentum against it. It's rare that very large targets are capable of moving as quickly as you can, and once they get moving, it's hard for them to stop. You can use this to lead them to where you want them to be, or to a place where you have the advantage.

"Oh yes, that does make sense, kupo." The few fights Bonnie had mostly been in were against Moogle Killer drones and stationary melons, both of which had a weakness to attacks from above. That imperial soldier that one time had proven to be a much more difficult opponent thanks to him having pesky things like arms and hands.

"Mmm, I see I see..." The moogle dabbed her chin with her paw, already thinking over her battle strategies. "Thank you, kupo. That's a lot of help."
