Gaia again. Jack pauses when he looks to Vincent. Right. Another of that big group with Cloud and Yuffie and Sephiroth. The man he'd gotten most of the details of the world from was in crystal now, but Jack was always curious about any story of that world.

Maybe then he'd figure out why so many of them were here.

"Forest of the Ancients?" Jack repeats. "Now that's an odd coincidence. Any relation to the idea of the Ancients on this world?"

"We would have to know more about the Ancients on this world." And more about the Ancients from Gaia too, to be fair. Vincent was certainly an expert in neither.

"When we visited, the place was deserted. Long since abandoned." Whereas this place...was still vibrant. Had inhabitants, and full of life.

"But you guys, Cloud and his buddies," sorry to put it that way, but Cloud was the first one of the group that he'd met. "This isn't the only similarity to your world, is it? Place I come from is nothing like this, magic isn't real, and we don't have the cool giant birds."

Vincent just nodded, but did not elaborate. 'Cloud and his buddies' huh? An amusing way to look at it, the darker gunslinger thought. "They are unfamiliar to creatures from Gaia as well."

At least they didn't exist in any context or form Vincent was familiar with on Gaia.

"I've been talking to as many of you as I can," straight-up admitting that he's been collecting information on Gaia. "Mostly because all of you seem to be fitting in here well, integrating without much of a," how does Jack want to put this? "...culture clash?"

"Or maybe it's just one hell of a weird coincidence that there's so many of you here."

That most certainly gets one dark-brow to raise above crimson-eyes, looking at Jack for a moment. First time they've met at least. "It has not gone unnoticed by some of us either. Nor helped in giving us insight as to if it is conspiracy or happenstance."

Less dry-slightly-snarky-answer? Nope, Vincent has noticed the large number of Gaians, but he has no clue why either.
