[Rialynn smiles, delighted at the audience's reception. They look so excited! It isn't often she's seen such an attentive audience, but then again, the performance they're giving was sort of impromptu, and not meant to generate any coins. They were simply doing it for the love of the craft. She inclines her head to Duster.]

Go ahead. I'd love to hear one of the songs from your world.

[She'll accompany him if he likes, but she needs to hear the song itself first before she can properly join in.]

[He looks down at the ocarina in his hands, contemplating his choices. Some of the DCMC's songs won't do well on a quiet band like theirs, but perhaps a cover...

He holds the instrument to his mouth, closes his eyes, and plays a soft melody. Theme of DCMC, they called it, but OJ joked that they might as well call it Lucky's Theme since it was composed when Duster joined the band. No matter the name, this is the first song that comes to mind.

[It's a very pleasant melody, Rialynn thinks to herself with a smile. It isn't long at all before she notices that some of the villagers are leaning to and fro, swaying along with Duster's tune. It has a peaceful, yet lively rhythm, the sort of song she'd liken to a village like this one. Not only is he talented at playing the music, he's got a knack for finding something to fit the mood as well. She could probably learn quite a bit from him in their travels.]

[Duster repeats the melody two times, his mind only focusing on the tune and the timbre of the flute-like instrument. The tone has a calming effect on his mind, like a midnight walk in the woods, clearing all thoughts not related to the music. He feels so focused, so rejuvenated with this song.

He finishes with a long, low note and keeps his eyes closed while he waits for the right moment to lower his hands and look up at the audience, who, after a moment of silence, applaud lightly.

Duster opens his eyes and keeps his head up. A performer has to be there for his fans, and he waits for the cheering to die down before picking up his ocarina and inspecting it again.

He well knew the power of music, but this felt just as emotional as a rock concert. Was this the true power of the Bard class?

You're good! And you've only had that ocarina for a short time, too. Looks like I'll be coming to you for lessons, ha!

[Rialynn looks down at her lute with a smile, fingers plucking out the first several notes of his song.]

Want to play it again?

[This time, she can back him up, and he can even freestyle if he desires.]

I'm learning as I go. [He tries different patterns in covering the ocarina holes, practicing silent scales.]

Actually, we should play something different. You don't play the same song twice in a concert.
