Vincent had been one of the first to respond, but staying back, by the researchers. More suited for the long-range, and able to provide back up in case these crystal-foes came close with some close range combat. Careful as he fired into the melee, making each shot count.

But it hadn't been easy, as the flood of enemies had been numerous. Some escaping the melee and approaching the researchers. Prompting Vincent to engage in close-quarters with his claw swiping viciously, backing it up with point-blank shots. Not that it was easy to tell, but his cloak and mantle now bore evidence of his blood as Manikins stabbed and cast spells at him. Part of him singed from fire-spells, and Vincent kept fighting.

But Sephiroth and Ace were dying--never mind they'd be back. The Heroes needed them now, or something. Vincent felt rage bubbling up inside him, rage and a familiar pain that he'd not felt in a while. "Get them to safety"

Dropping to his knees, curling up on himself and trying to shout one more warning before the transformation of his limit break took over. "CLOUD! Get back!" Voice a gutteral growl, no longer human with the last word, before he was engulfed in darkness.

Large leather black wings with red membranes uncurled from around the figure, taller and black leathery skin covered a larger frame. Glowing red-eyes shone from a demonic face, and with a roar Chaos moved in to start tearing apart their foes.
