Though the manikin's strike toward the ground nearly made her stumble, it allowed her the opportunity she needed to push past what was left of the others so she could reach her goal, ignoring the instinct to look back at what Vincent had transformed into; whatever it was, he was dealing with the manikins more effectively than they could alone and with their depleting strength, therefore it was better to focus on their fallen comrades.

"We won't leave the two of you here if we can help it." Tired as her voice was, it was firm in her declaration. With Sephiroth now being taken care of, Tear took it upon herself to focus attention on Ace, kneeling down next to the cadet and holding back the urge to wince as she silently registered the extent of his injuries as she took him into her arms the best she could without further aggravating them. Even if she had more effective healing at her disposal, there would be so much to repair for both of he and Sephiroth.

"Jade!" Feeling her heart clench, she looked away from the wounded and toward the other soldier, her eyes beseeching.
