Terra took a small step forward as Cloud moved Sephiroth to face up. She watched ripples fan outward with each step through the scarlet liquid. Ace... Sephiroth... She couldn't pull her gaze away from the pair.

"Sephiroth?" Her voice was weak and shaking. "Ace?"

They'd come back, it'll just take a few minutes if she remembered correctly. After their death they'd turn to crystal and come back. For some reason it felt like hours passed as they clung to life. How much pain are they in? It wasn't fair.

Terra couldn't even sooth that pain.
