003 Arrows of Love | Sleeping Beauty
Who: Raven & Others
What: It's nice no longer being stuck in an eternal stasis.
Where: Hospital, House A-10, Aqures Ixen (Various)
When: Feb 7th
Warnings: Raven.
[ Hospital ]
Just as easily as it happened, Raven easily came out of Crystal Stasis. Though it was disorientating considering the amount of time that passed since he was last conscious. Furthermore, he awoke to a strange illustration. Due to the contents of the drawing, there was only one person guilty of this style.
"Hm, what a nice girl." Surely she was doing okay. Raven held the piece of art loosely in his fingers.
Raven took a glance at the others whom were still stuck in stasis, the number was still alarming, it looked like it might have grown even. Then it caught him, a familiar face.
Estelle.
There was no basis to judge how long she had been in there. None of the other members appeared to be around, meaning they were still around and active.
[ House A-10 (Open door! or Window) ]
And he was home, at least it seemed like he was, until he walked into his room. Upon opening the door, he discovered an arrangement different then how he left it. You could even say it was more decorative, and not nearly has plain as he had kept it since he arrived here. His suspicions were quickly narrowed to the only person who had made any mention about his room. The most notable piece was the lavender rug that took up the middle of the room. He didn't hate it, but it would be a bit of a stretch to say he liked most of the changes that had occurred.
[ Aqures Ixen (Various) ]
Raven couldn't say he was happy to be back, but it was hell of a lot better than being stuck in a crystal. To celebrate his awakening, Raven could be found at the local bar where he used gil not spent on some hard liquor. Why? Well...why not? Despite not having any side effects of being frozen for so long, the thought of remaining in place for more than a month made his bones feel still. There was no better way to loosen up than with alcohol.
He's certain that Yuri would probably want to see him at some point, and he would have to catch up on what he was unconscious for, but he wasn't in any rush to do so. Like clockwork, he would find himself preoccupied doing some work or another that needed to get done. Just was the life of a guildee.

Bar/Tavern
He slides right across from Raven as he entered. Repede curled at the foot of the table closer to Raven and mostly eyeing the man with his large eyes. Yuri propped his hand on the table and his glass of liquor in his other hand.
"Glad to see you're kicking it still, old man."
Yuri had learned that Raven was out of the Crystal Stasis but Estelle was in it. Not that he was surprised. As much as he was unhappy about it, he didn't show it. It was surprising to even see her after all. He still couldn't wrap his mind around it completely. The odds of people from his world coming here was becoming higher and higher.

It was nice to see Repede up and active as well. Seemed like the pup missed him too.
"It'll take more than Crystal Stasis ta do me in."
He's lived through worse, and really he shouldn't be living at all. Yet here he was, breathing. Raven was becoming better about his dark mindset of living like he was dead. The archer was even starting to indulge himself a little from time to time. It was progress, though he wasn't sure how good. Least to say, he still owed it to Brave Vesperia and didn't have any intentions of letting them down any time soon.

Right now as a good time to talk with Raven now that he caught him. The dog, glances back at Raven once more before falling back into his paws and resting his eyes.
"Sounds about right. Glad to hear that you're not going to kick the bucket that fast," he replied leaning back a bit.
"Anything special happened since you got back here, old man?"
no subject
"Nothin' out of the ordinary." He did reunite with Rukia and had a late lunch with her before coming here. Though their conversation was a little deep. "I heard about the Sage's vision."
no subject
"Seems like things are fairly mellow at the moment. I can't say I'm content about it or I should be cautious of it," he mused, a frown lining his face for a moment before Raven brought up the Sage's vision. He nodded his head.
"Then you know about most of the things that happened to folks when they were sleeping? I can't say it's normal for everyone to have that sort of bizarre dream, foreshadowing our futures, though. It makes you want to not make any mistakes, since that could be the end result," Yuri replied closing his eyes.
no subject
Raven was still a tad skeptical about it. No one could procure a vivid vision that was destined to happened. Fate could change at the drop of a hat. Perhaps he was bias because he never would have expected living past Alexei's prime. In spite of that, he was still curious of the details that transpired in the vision.
He took another drink.

He replied looking at his glass before looking back at Raven. Not that he would like to believe all the foreshadowing in that dream and what the world would be like if it were able to be swallowed by the Calamity rapidly. He sets the glass down empty as he continues to speak.
"It was a mess in that vision. The so-called "Heroes" of light were all dying left and right and nothing was bringing them back. On top of that some died in the line of duty and then they all decided to break into idealistic factions with those who didn't want to side on either teams in the middle."
He started trying to make short and quick, "--And you were dead in that vision."

Raven took a long drink of his beer. He was digesting the information just released to him. The archer trusted Yuri above all others, and rightfully so. The kid had earned his place and Raven respected him deeply. The vision, however, Raven wasn't sure how he felt about that. Not to mention his inherent untimely death.
"And do ya believe this vision?"
no subject
Then again, he didn't like his fate being ruled by a dumb vision either. He left that thought out but Raven would probably understand his unsaid thoughts. They knew each other long enough for. Yuri drinks the rest of his alcoholic beverage before gesturing the Bartender to get him some more.
"I'd rather not have something like that happen even if it could be a trick. The last thing I need to deal with is folks losing their brains over "impossible" circumstances."
no subject
"Guess we'll have ta do what Brave Vesperia does, and do our own thing."
They defied the masses before, they can surely do it again. Even if they were only working with half the guild and a fraction of the party.
no subject
He replied with a shrug of his shoulders when Raven said those words to him. It was true. He was uneasy about the ordeal but he wasn't going to let it control him. He'll avoid the mistakes, but everything else was all fun and games until then. He had a lot of mysteries to unravel and people to talk to.
Defying the future was what they did best after all.
"Anyway, that's pretty must the gist of what you missed. Can't say it was exciting."
He shrugged, "You want another?"
If he does, Yuri will probably call another round for the both of them.
no subject
"The night's too young ta stop at one."
no subject
"Heard ya loud and clear old man," he replied with a grin before gesturing the bartender to hit them up with more drinks.

The bar tender set the tapped drinks on the counter for the waitress to bring their way. When it was placed before, Raven wasn't shy to reach for his.

He replied giving the other a grin for the comment. Maybe it was a little dark but Yuri didn't seem to take it as such. Rather, he seemed perfectly fine with the joke but he was anything but a boss or a leader. He did what was necessary and that was that. Plus, he liked being in the shadows. It's more preferable for him.
The swordsman either and took a nice drink from it before setting it down.
"I don't got much else to say on the matter but if ya think I left something out, feel free to ask, old man. If not then we might as well drink the night away for once."

( ooc; we can end it here if you'd like. )
