Keiko did the same with her chair, picking up the pair of books she'd been leafing through to place them on the return cart. Hopefully they'd still be there when she got back, she kind of wanted to check them out for a while. But she wasn't about to keep Alisaie waiting.

"There are magic sciences too? It's a shame they never taught anything like that at school," Keiko remarked with a friendly smile. "I guess people used to think of chemistry as a sort of magical alchemy, so maybe it's just a matter of perspective. What kind of place is Sharlayan?" she asked as they walked, since it sure couldn't hurt to know some of her former traveling companions a little better.
