The old man had convinced her that acquiring a Chocobo was a sound investment of her time. If nothing else, it would make a fine work animal in this woefully backwards world. Naturally, this meant she wanted a strong, healthy bird to do her bidding. Zojja had no time for meek and weak, and that went double for animals.
Fortunately, the chocobo the lure attracted seemed like an ideal specimen of a chocobo for her criteria. Unfortunately, it looked like she would have to show it who's boss. Or maybe that was also fortunate. That meant it was a chocobo worth capturing.
"Now how am I going to get on it?" Zojja wondered out loud.
"Remember to not accidentally kill it, kupo," Kupu said.
"What made you think I was going to kill it?"
She asked that innocently, but she had to consciously lower the amount of power she was pouring into the Thunder spell in her hand.
