He regarded her tone and the way she seemed lost in her thoughts. He knew that he had felt the same way while he was trying to discover for himself what he wanted to do with his free time. No set answer could be said aside from the obvious. He leaned back with one hand to support his weight flat against the ground while the other held the gooey s'mores treat.

"Oh, I don't know about that. Usually, you're a bit more assertive. I'm sure you know, you just hadn't found it yet, or it hasn't presented itself to you yet. There is a great big world out there." He had thought of the times that he had thought about adventuring a bit himself just to see what was out there.

"Here's an idea. Why don't we take a trip when the thaw comes. I'll need to wait a bit anyway before I can plant anything again." At the very least, it showed that he still had that venturing spirit that he had in his younger years.
