Summary: Catch-all log for the Cluedo Event. If you would like to pursue investigations and play out the fall-out of the Cluedo events, this is the post for you. June 30th - Meeting for Investigators, Witnesses, Victimes, Etc. - Mastermind Discussion

[There's another meeting after a whole week has passed without another Hero of Light being crystallized. It means they're safe for now, but Ales can't let those terrifying weeks pass without some sort of investigation. He sends out a letter asking to meet at the Observatory again, this time to discuss more than the culprits of each murder.]

As I take it, we're doing well on finding the culprits behind each case. [Even if they're not discovered before the day of the meeting, it's only a matter of time before they put all the clues together.] But there's another mystery we have to figure out. Who's behind all these attacks?

[His voice is quiet, none of that usual cheer of annoyance he delivers with his speeches. Someone is fighting against the Heroes, and they're still out there on the loose.]

It's one of out enemies, that's for sure. Whether it's the same person who transported us to the southern end of the continent two months ago or another party entirely, I don't know. But if I have to pick a primary suspect, I'd say it's those leaders of the Cult of Narayana. They're practically based around the opposite of saving this world.

[He looks around the room, again organized with chairs arranged in a circle.]

Is there anything we found out that can help?

"Not much," Jack admits out loud. "The experiments at the Laboratory told us a lot about how the Illusionist Job works...but we can't get any kind of forensic trail of the magic. There's no way to use that to determine who was casting illusions on the perpetrators and possibly also the victims of these attacks."

"If we're looking for an Illusionist, the Job initially came out of the Empire. There could be plenty of them running around. If it wasn't one of us, there's one more high-level Illusionist that I know of, but I've got even less reason to suspect her than any of the Heroes. The Lady Prajapati has been way too busy settling the Nabilan refugees anyway." Jack sighs and rolls his eyes. "Still, if you want to cover absolutely every base, I could check in on her."
