[It felt a bit surreal to experience death. Even more so when it was at the hands of someone you considered a friend. Sure, Mickey didn't mean it, and Hisui wasn't about to give him a hard time. It was a shitty situation all around but them were the breaks. The world was ending and Hisui wasn't part of the rag-tag group of heroes set out to save it. It was dumb since he wasn't even from this world, so why should he care? He didn't. He wanted to. On an intellectual level. But he knew he should. Lithia would've been so disappointed in him. Not that she was around anymore. Dammit, brooding around wasn't him! He lightly mutters to himself as he walks around the city.]

[ Mikleo was a bit absent minded as he made his way through the streets of Aqures Ixen. He didn't seem like himself since the incident but he tried to take the words that were said to him into consideration and looking at things on a more positive note. He promised to do what he could to make up for the mistakes that were made.

This world continued to really mess him up and he couldn't really fight it off with his abilities as they were. He still wanted to protect his friends. At least, the few that he could still speak to. ]

Huh. You look like you've lost some weight, and that's scary given how much of a skinny-ass you already are. You been eating okay?

Ah, no I haven't lost any weight.

[ At least, he doesn't think so. Hisui seems the same as ever as he approaches the other. ]

I've been eating fine. You don't have to worry about me, Hisui. How are you feeling?

I don't think there are any lasting effects on my body from what had happened. Thank goodness for small favors, am I right?

I'm glad to here that you didn't get any lasting effects. I suppose. I'm not quite sure what you mean by that.

I used to be able to use healing artes with my soma back home, but that obviously doesn't work here. Maybe White Mage...?

I believe it's called a Necromancer Job I believe. I could be wrong. I've looked into it but that is the closest I see to what you're implying.

What is Soma? It sounds like a form of Seraphic Artes that I am used to. I wasn't aware that you could heal.

Basically, a Soma is a tool used to manifest the strength of your spiria - or heart - into power. Usually this translates into battle prowess, though I could actually cast healing artes without a Soma. The face of Quartz from the moon could actually cast will artes without the use of Soma.

Of course, here, I don't have my healing artes. Got a gun and the ability to steal monster abilities? Wonders never cease.

That is an interesting concept in regards to how you have your powers through the use of something called a "Soma." The face of Quartz? Yes, there are some rather peculiar jobs here that I can't understand myself.
