Ales hadn't bothered to watch the play for most of the festival. That was just legends, myths, nonsense. However, the temptation of watching a dramatized account of a battle he participated in a year ago was too much. He missed a large portion due to heroically sacrificing himself and the airship he piloted to push back the enemy. Sure, the other passengers were killed, but sacrifices had to be made.
He remains silent for most of the play. Actors stream in left and right, some wearing only a mask to indicate which Hero they were portraying, others actually resembled the part. Airships sailed in the back, and fictional Ales was on there. There was a sinking feeling that he would never see himself. Was it because they couldn't figure out a way to dress up as a Teensie? Just get a Tarutaru! If he doesn't see himself, this will be a waste of time!
