That had been a brief experience with an unpleasant end, so perhaps it was appropriate that he came along to aid her once again -- this time with more success, he hoped.

Besides, what little he'd learned of Spira had piqued his interest... though it seemed they were about to leave society behind, not study it up close. That was too bad.
