A very different voice makes a confused sound, and a very skinny man (with really great hair) in a brown pinstripe suit pokes his head out from under the central console. He wrinkles his nose when he sees Jack.
"Ohh, you'll just let anyone in, now won't you?" Was he- talking to the machine?
The man slides himself out from where he was working, dusts his hands off, and strides over towards Jack. "Now I know what you're thinking, and no, I'm sorry, but you're not telling me to just fob off and ignore a second rift in time and space appearing right next to the first one, and I think I've got a workaround but I could use your help and," the Doctor's tone abruptly turns on a dime when he finally stops babbling and notices the look on Jack's face.
"Nooooo, nonono now I do know what you're thinking and stop it." He points a finger at Jack, and the man is backpedaling, as if putting the console between him and Jack might prevent the Time Agent from walking up and kissing him like he really wants to do right now.
Jack sighs heavily and backs off. "Doctor. Everybody, this is the Doctor. If there's one guy in all of time and space who might be able to fix this, it's him."
"Well...." The Doctor shoves his hands in his pockets and rocks back and forth from heels to the balls of his feet, as if trying to look modest (and failing).
"Sorry, who do we have here?" The Doctor pulls a double-take at K'pandolu. "One of the Sisters of Plentitude? ...Out of habit?" There's an accusatory glare at Jack. "Jack!"
Jack's eyes go wide, and his hands are held up and shaking back and forth in denial. "No no, it's not what you think! We're not- no!" A pleading look at K'pandolu, please please tell the Doctor that he hasn't done anything wrong?
