log for September
[Since the incident with Palitutu, Johnny hasn't been seen around much. Normally a fixture in the 3rd district playing music for the tourists, or seated on a barstool in one of several bars, he seems to have abandoned his usual haunts. Pretty unusual for a guy who is hardly ever home normally.
After the Heroes spared Palitutu, Johnny spit some disparaging words at them as a whole, and stormed off. Since then, he's been avoiding everyone. He's mad at the Heroes, at Palitutu, at Crystallis, everything. He has nowhere to go with all of his anger and disappointment. He wanted to like this place. And it was easy at first, too, considering where Johnny had come from before this. But Crystallis has shown itself to be just another miserable, dying pit, just like Exsilium.
Things aren't even good at home for him, since he's felt a bit awkward around Reno since returning from the trip to Atia. He felt like the third wheel in Reno's life, despite the fact that the other person was on another world.
Tonight, though, he can be found by anyone who might be passing by one of the city's western walls. Johnny would often climb up there for some star gazing, or just some alone time. Often, though, he's not alone for long. Since it's a lovely fall evening, he's up there now, watching the stars and clouds go by as he nurses one of several beers he brought along. Someone's bound to catch him up there sooner or later.]

Re: [Mid-September time wise]
Where else? I made it. It's hard to believe they don't have pizza here locally now.
[She gives him a small smile and lets him have a slice before talking.]
I was getting worried since I hadn't seen you around. Though really, I don't blame you for getting pissed at us as a whole.

[Any kind of pizza is fine by him. He's definitely not going to be picky now.]
Yeah, I... I'm just sick of this place. Sick of every place. 'N the people in 'em. I dunno.
[He shrugs, looking away from her when he talks. Johnny always has too much emotion and not enough ways to get it all out.]

[She nods before taking a bite out of her slice.]
Can't say I blame you for believing in that either. In my 99 years of existence, this whole Calamity thing has been pushing at my bullshit limit constantly too. I'm sure you'll find some place to call home but we won't have any place to call home unless we do something about it.

[Johnny's a part-time bouncer and musician there on the busier nights of the week.
He lets out a short sign of frustration.]
We ain't gonna get anything done, cuz this so-called group of Heroes can't agree on any goddamn thing ever. I'm tired of it. We only got as few months left to do somethin', but we just keep spinning our wheels.

[Saori is in no way a push over of a boss and values the lives of her employees.]
I know. We're all too stubborn in our ways to do so. I can empathize with those who want to do this with minimum bloodshed but we should be open to all the options have.
I just...I just want to make sure our worlds are gonna be safe and everyone gets to go where they want to go.My own kids are way too young to deal with the Calamity.
[Her voice trails off at that last sentence as she looks up at the night sky. Visiting her home world and seeing her family again just the homesickness worse whenever it did come up. Really, this world wasn't too bad in her opinion. It's just that the Calamity is why Crystallis can't have nice things.]

Me too. 'N I'm sure everyone does. Just seems like they don't with how nothing ever seems to get done. Nothin' major anyway. Movin' people out of the way of the Calamity and all is good, but it just feels like we're outrunning the inevitable.
[He sighs in annoyance, shaking his head.]
Problem is, I'm useless. All this bitchin' but I ain't got any ideas of how to make anything better.
