SNOWBALL FIGHT START~!

Characters: Yuffie Kisaragi and OPEN!
Where: Aqures Ixen.. EVERYWHERE!

Summary: Yuffie is going to try and start a snowball fight that spans the entire city. No one is safe!!!
Warning: Lots of snow~!

Zack was gone, a new collection of heroes gathered and Yuffie was bored. Honestly what could she do? She didn't want to sit and wait for something to happen. Training was always something to do but it was less fun when she was alone. After a startling discovery Yuffie realized that she didn't want to be alone.

She jumped out of her window landing in the soft white fluffy snow below. That was an idea! Yuffie scooped up the snow forming a perfect ball as an evil grin slipped across her lips.

Yes, that was a great idea!

Yuffie collected snow and began making snowballs. After she made 10 decently sized snowballs she took off towards the city looking for targets. It didn't matter where you were, what you were doing or who was around. Yuffie used her ninja skills to silently sneak up and pelt all those in her path. Those who know her might have gotten more than just one snowball sent their way. No one was safe.

Genesis had decided to pick up a job this month, in part because he was growing bored without Sephiroth to bother, and in part because his not-sister had poked at him to get him out of the dusty library and have fun. Unfortunately due to a mix up involving a near-sighted moogle and the wrong paperwork, the job he was given was that as Mrs. Claus.

So there he was, in a short, lacy and frilly red and white dress, trying to keep warm by standing as close as he dared to an open fire when he wasn't trying to entertain the children. Some of them were no doubt amused by the sight of a grown man in a dress, while others were still young enough to not notice that Mrs. Claus has a deeper voice than Santa.

Yuffie was running past, giggling manically with a bag filled with snowballs. It really didn't matter if you were a by standard or just some random person walking down the street she was throwing them everywhere. A few kids were in her line of fire, though she made sure to throw those softer and one found its way into Mis. Claus's face. Not that Yuffie knew who was underneath.

She stopped as the children joined her in her fight and all began throwing snowballs at each other. It was then that she finally noticed.

"GENESIS!"

In her surprise she was pelted with at least four snowballs and fell backwards into the snow.

A snowball in the face. Genesis blinked and slowly scraped off the snow, a frown marring his plush lips. A second for him to calm down the sudden urge to toss an Ice at the offender and then he bent down - carefully since he was in a short skirt - and scooped up some snow. He packed it tightly and as Yuffie laid there, he walked up to her, and smiled at her.

"I do believe that revenge can be served cold," he said, his smile a little crazy. "What do you think, Princess?"

Genny held the wrist holding the snowball, raising a white, stuck on brow in his direction. While Gen was Mrs. Claus, she was Mr. Claus. Because someone messed up the paperwork and for some reason still won't let them be gender appropriate. "Mrs. Claus isn't meant to be naughty, now is she?"

That and she wasn't sure they were suppose to be running around throwing snowballs at children. least of all Gen and his short skirt. At least she got to wear the suit, although the added belly was a bit much. Did she really need to be fat to be jolly?

Yuffie rolled backwards easily shifting her weight to her feet. She crouched in front of Genesis and scooped up a snowball only to throw it straight in his face. They were close enough that it wasn't hard to hit him.

"Think you can keep up miss." She would never let him live this down. "Who knew you were so pretty."

Her eyes shifted to Genny with a smile. "Thanks Mr!" Yeah, she was having fun with this.

"Aww, but Santa Claus knows that people shouldn't be naughty and hit other people in the face," he said, making the whine in his voice really stand out. He was having fun despite being cold and this looked at least more entertaining than watching kids freeze when asking Santa for gifts.

"Snowball fights should be in pure fun and not meant to hurt other people."

Genesis tended to worry her when he had that crazed grin on his face but the whine made her roll her eyes with a smile and let go. "Fine, fine, go fight the injustice, Mrs. Claus."

She often wondered if everyone from Gaia was this strange or if she just never met them.

"HEY! Don't IGNORE ME! BESIDES! I am starting a snowball fight in the name of pure fun. I'm having a blast!" She grinned, a little upset that the two don't seem to be paying her any mind.

"I am not ignoring you, Princess," he said and then tosses the snowball in a random direction. "I am just not hitting you with a snowball while you are in a prone position. That would be unfair, would it not?"

No, not everyone was this crazy, only just a few of the SOLDIERs were. And probably some of the Turks. And AVALANCHE. Well. Maybe Genny was onto something there.

Genny snorted softly, crossing her arms. "Yuffie is never fair, Gen."

She easily dodged any oncoming snowballs as they spoke. She may not be a Monk right now, but it was still equipped as secondary, making her very fast.

Yuffie rose brushing snow off her as she went. Her cheeks reddened slightly as Genesis addressed her but it could just be the cold from the snow.

"How am I not fair?" She wasn't sure how to take those words but it certainly sounded like it wasn't a nice thing. What was this these two anyway? She was completely distracted from her snowball fight as her mind tried to piece together their conversation.

"You are a ninja. I suspect that ninjas are never fair when it comes to sneaking up on people and hitting them with snowballs," Genesis said, with a shrug. In all honesty, he wasn't going to attack now thanks to his temper being far cooled down and having a discussion with his twin from another realm.

"Have you ever met Yuffie before you came here, Genny?"

Genny crossed her arms and nodded. "She dumped water on me while I was ill and Angeal was taking care of me. Her target wasn't me, but still."

"Hey! That was an accident. Besides I think he meant from your world." She crossed her arms with a frown. It wasn't her fault that the bucket happened to spill over on Genny or her bed. A tiny part of the young princess still felt bad about it and she didn't care to be reminded.

Her eyes shifted between the strange pair now thinking about Genny's world. I think she mentioned that Angeal was still a boy there... maybe. But she wondered what she was like from that world. Was she still her?

"I did mean from your world, Genny," he replied mildly. He attempted to brush off more of the snow from him and blew on his fingers.

"I knew of her from my world, though we never truly met. It would seem that she enjoyed to surprise SOLDIERs while they were on their missions."

Genesis rolled her eyes with a sigh. She figured as much as soon as she said anything but she wasn't going to admit she was wrong. She shrugged instead. "I know Wutai had a princess, I just didn't think it would be Yuffie."

Because for a princess of Wutai, she didn't act the part. Like, at all.

"What's that suppose to mean!" She took offense to that and crossed her arms with a frown. Yuffie thought she was a great princess despite what her father kept saying. Everything she did, she did for her home.

Not that people working for ShinRa would understand her.

"It is true that she lacks the refinement of the ladies of the court we were always introduced to," Genesis said, the humor laced in his voice. Oh, they would throw the ladies at the three of them, though he often wondered if it was because they had thought it would make the SOLDIERs less inclined to violence, or if it was an attempt to worm secrets from them. Genesis had little to do with that, even if he was inclined towards flattery and idle chitchat due to his upbringing.

"However, I find her refreshing. Wutai should have a strong leader, even if that leader still needs to grow in strength."

"Angeal and Sephiroth told me about the ladies," She replied, remembering how flustered Angeal sometimes was. Genesis never saw it because had a thing about lady warriors and, at the time, ShinRa hadn't wanted to offend the Wutaians. That didn't stop some of the soldiers from flirting with her though. She shook her head. "Not for me, but I suppose being in a boy's only club would do that to you."

She poked his arm with a small grin. She may have been the only First Class, but there were other female Second and Third Class women.

There were a few things Yuffie had never wanted to hear and a lot of them were being said right now. She knew that she wasn't refined in the traditional sense but she prided herself on her strength and her efforts which were both just complimented and insulted in the same sentience. Then hearing about these ladies suddenly made Yuffie feel awkward and then upset. All of this, only made worse by the fact that these two were ignoring her presence entirely and talking about her as if she wasn't even there.

It was frustrating.

She felt her heel slam into the ground before she even knew that she had moved. She turned quickly looking over at the pair with a hurt glare.

"Your guys are jerks."

Yuffie ran from them, no longer waiting to throw snowballs or hear about whatever it was they chose to talk about. She was completely done with this conversation.
