SNOWBALL FIGHT START~!

Summary: Yuffie is going to try and start a snowball fight that spans the entire city. No one is safe!!!
Warning: Lots of snow~!

Zack was gone, a new collection of heroes gathered and Yuffie was bored. Honestly what could she do? She didn't want to sit and wait for something to happen. Training was always something to do but it was less fun when she was alone. After a startling discovery Yuffie realized that she didn't want to be alone.

She jumped out of her window landing in the soft white fluffy snow below. That was an idea! Yuffie scooped up the snow forming a perfect ball as an evil grin slipped across her lips.

Yes, that was a great idea!

Yuffie collected snow and began making snowballs. After she made 10 decently sized snowballs she took off towards the city looking for targets. It didn't matter where you were, what you were doing or who was around. Yuffie used her ninja skills to silently sneak up and pelt all those in her path. Those who know her might have gotten more than just one snowball sent their way. No one was safe.

This made things very easy. Ales hid behind a few boxes just tall enough to hide him and the catapult, cranked it, and began piling snow onto it. Every few handfuls, he compressed the lump so that it stuck together. He'd much rather have Yuffie get his by a giant ball of snow instead of being sprayed by it.

Once satisfied with his diabolical plan, he took a quick peek behind the boxes to make sure she was still distracted. Only one chance to do this.

He ran out, pushing the catapult, took aim, and hit the lever, releasing a six-inch snowball at the ninja.

She was quick but without warning she couldn't get completely out of its way. She jumped to the side, pulling one of the kids that might be in this path with her, tossing them into the safety of the soft snow.

The snow ball hits her feet and slams her into the ground, luckily that's padded. She brushed off the snow and quickly stood with a grin slipping across her lips. Her ankles and caffs were red from the impact of the dense snow but she didn't really seem to pay it any mind. She scooped up a snowball and gestured at Ales to the kids.

"Come one guys! Lets get him!"

With that prompt she charged with 10 kids running behind her, throwing snowballs at the little hero.

Ales let out a muffled, jolly giggle when Yuffie was knocked over. It didn't hit her in the face, but this was sweet enough.

His laughter ended quickly when the kids lined up behind Yuffie to avenge her. It was too late to realize that while the ninja was distracted when playing with children, this also create plenty of witnesses.

Witnesses eager to hit him back. But they were tiny, young witnesses.

This would be just like his other getaway. All he needed was a distraction and then he'd had a head start. Alright, so he wouldn't be able to escape all of their snowballs, but it would be better than nothing.

He leaned towards his side, acting as if he spotting something behind the group. "Hey, what's that cat doing here?" And before waiting for a response, he dashed back home as fast as he could, leaving his catapult behind.

Yuffie didn't fall for such a thing though a few of the kids did. After that there were only 4 chasing him. Everyone picking up and throwing snow at the little hero as he waddled away.

Part way through their case Yuffie dropped to the snow, letting the other kids continue to run after him. It might be time for her to go home too.

They were catching up! Ales ducked into side streets, regretting this already. Each time he got closer to his house, another set of snowballs rained at him, some hitting him. At one point, the kids knocked off his hat and laughed when they found out that he was wearing a wig. He was pelted with another ball as he stopped to pick it up.

They only got tired of chasing him once he reached the perimeter of the housing district, but by then, he was soaking wet and tired from all that running.

He slammed the door once he was inside, grateful for heating housing, and trudged to the kitchen, where Mimi was drinking some soup.

"A-Ales! Kupo! Are you okay? What happened?" She flew over to him. The worst thing that could happen to her hero was for him to die of hypothermia. Not exactly the most noble of deaths.

"Snowball fight," he replied miserably and pushed a stool to the stove. "I'll just eat and go to sleep today." He climbed up. "We have something valuable to retrieve from the city tomorrow."

Mimi watched him nervously the entire time, and only went back to her dinner once Ales went upstairs.
