#20 | The Life of a Soldier [December | Starlight catch-all]
Characters: Sephiroth & OPEN Prompts below
Where: Various as prompted
When: Throughout December / Starlight Celebrations
Summary: Away from all the merriment involved with this very special time of year, there are those working flat out to ensure that it stays that way. Whether it be fending off monsters for the first week of Trano Golsaucia's re-opening, safeguarding frontiers as the Calamity creeps ever forwards to engulf the land that is left unprotected, or getting that crucial fitness training in with any spare moment given.
It might be the last Starlight this World would see, and it's his job to make sure everyone was able to make the most of it.
Warnings: N/A (for now)
[#1 - Trano Golsaucia]
[#2 - Aqures Ixen. Training.]
[#3 - Wildcard]

He'd just have to read them again even if she did go through them, or at least those sections she might highlight. And what if she missed something important? Different eyes read different things...
But all that came out, in what might have been a rejection, was that suppressed yawn. Long and heavy.]
...right.
[He'd have moved onto the nearby couch that sometimes was used for more-casual meetings, to at least let Rukia use his desk. If that last yawn hadn't just renewed the sticky fatigue that refused for him to move. The coffee cup is placed as far as possible away from him on the desktop as in no time at all Sephiroth's head is back down atop folded arms.]

[It's no small task, and she never did pursue the Scholar job as she originally intended since there were so many others who could now read the language of the Ancients, so her reading speed is average. But she's dedicated. And when Sephiroth next wakes, he'll find the reports sorted by priority into one stack, turned a quarter of the way for each descending rank. True to her word, there are highlights and notes (and one doodle of a poorly drawn rabbit in the corner of only one sheet).]
[There's also two smaller square notes stuck to his desk. The first reads: 'Call me if you get overwhelmed. I'm here to help. --Rukia' The second reads: 'Now you OWE ME.' And it has a scheming rabbit face drawn beneath it. She's probably kidding.]
