Everything was quiet for a moment, too quiet maybe. But then a voice resounded all around them, a voice that could be recognized as that of Ramza-Kalki.

The Crystal faded out of existence and an explosion of dark energy emerged from the abyss where Bahamut had fallen moments ago. Nothing that would hit the Heroes of Light... But it might be best to prepare for what was about to come. Indeed, it appeared that something was happening within the abyss, the legendary dragon undergoing a transformation of some sort. And ere long one of its hands emerged from the abyss and griped the edge of ground...
But something was very wrong with it-- The hand was nearly as large as the garden upon which the Heroes of Light were standing.
And indeed, as the creature rose from the abyss, it was no longer what it had once been. Given its size, the head could have been mistaken for a small building whilst the creature in its entirety was larger than the Castle of Aqures Ixen itself. When it opened its eyes, it stared at the Heroes of Light, its red iris larger than any one of them.
