shinrasfinest: (Combat landing)

Sephiroth barely let boots touch the platform each time, before quickly finding his next stepping stone, and given the Akh Morn in the previous turn it seemed he'd been right to keep moving. Still, all this evasion was all very well and good but came with the sacrifice of a turn that round. It wasn't really contributing at all; the downside of prizing melee combat with not a lot else.

But as the dragon started creating such a roaring wind with it's wings, it was lucky that Sephiroth's newest platform was of the medium-to-large size else he'd easily have been blown over. As soon as he felt himself being directed in a direction he didn't want he immediately crouched as low, and as spread-stanced as he could, in order to keep himself rooted. He might be able to support maybe one other person but more than that, alongside Masamune, wouldn't prove ideal at all.

In the meantime, he refreshed with ShinRa Guard-

"...could do with those wings clipping-!" He's unsure, of course, if anyone closer or otherwise in a better position might hear him but it was worth a shout out as Sephiroth leaned himself into the wind and curled his long sword back along his arm stiffly; wouldn't do to be losing that.

There followed squinted eyes upwards, searching for his next platform, before a moment later loosing Excalibur and deliberately using the momentum to get himself back grounded once more. He might well not be in range but it all honesty it was getting hard to tell; the scale of Calamity Bahamut was so far out of proportion to the rest of them. There'd be no more leaping around for now, the risk was too great.

If only he could fly...
