This was it. Cloud could feel it in his teeth. He had no way of knowing how much more strength Kalki had to her, but if he was going to do something it was now or never. This was the last stand and it was time to throw everything he had into it. He leaped back as Tsubomi charged in to give her space and smiled as he listened to her words. He was proud to be fighting alongside people like her, who believed so purely in what they were doing. Tsubomi was one of those who helped him keep his own focus all this time.
"For some reason my world was one that Crystallis or the Calamity or whoever decided was prime for pulling from. So many of us were drawn here, now and in previous cycles, and so few of us are standing here now." He shook his head, trying not to let his thoughts drift from his purpose, "Even if I have no world to go back to, Crystallis has become my home. I'll protect both and the others, but I refuse to sacrifice any for the rest."
His hand swept across the fusion sword, priming the catches that kept it as a single piece. "Stopping you, battling the Calamity, betting everything on a desperate prayer for an impossible victory. I have to do this. I wouldn't be able to live with myself if I turned my back on a single world to save others, let alone let all fall into death because you think that's better than a life with any sort of pain. And if you think we're fools for that then you all should have thought before giving us the right to make this choice."
He flashed with the power of his Limit Break, swinging his sword over his head and sweeping up a wind around him. The blackness above glowed as a swarm of meteorites began to fall and then he turned, throwing the First Tsurugi up into the Meteorain. The sword broke apart and the sword blades swarmed with the burning stones as they fell towards Kalki and he pushed all of his will into the attack.
"For all my friends and for all of the worlds! I cherish them all and I won't stop even if you kill me! MELODIES OF ETERNITY!" However this turned out, he wasn't going to leave Tsubomi to go it alone.
