Melodies Of Life || Change those flowing tears into shining courage, life goes on
Characters: Anyone who's been in the game
Where: Aqures Ixen
When: August 3rd
Summary: A story is over, many others are about to begin. Friends may reunite and rejoice together, friends may part and say farewell to each over forever. But even if you should leave your friends behind, your voice shall never forget their melodies.
Following the battle against Kalki, the sacrifice of old friends and the second destruction of Aqures Tosf, Palitutu cast all Heroes of Light into the Rift, each of them finding themselves in an all too familiar void. And yet... Soon the void vanished, as it had once before. This time it was all too clear none of this had been a dream. Upon coming to their senses, the Heroes of Light will find themselves on the outskirts of Aqures Ixen. Music and laughter can be heard coming from the city.
Is there a celebration in the city? Shouldn't it be filled with corrupted Heroes of Light and on the brink of destruction? Before they can do anything about these questions, the Heroes of Light are submerged by a wave of fluffy white balls of fur and fluff- the Moogles who helped them for all these years and are now overjoyed to see they are safe and sound. As they once did before, the Moogles will answer all of their questions, but also drag them into the city. A celebration is indeed taking place and why, it appears they are the reason the celebration is happening. The music is joyous, the people are happy and all appears to be for the best.
Upon reaching the third district, they will see familiar faces. Cid, Wedge, Biggs, Parajapati, Mograma, O'aka and many other friends they made along the way. They will all clap for them before congratulating them and taking part in the festivities. There are more familiar faces, however. Where once stood the Crystal of Fire is now a statue depicting four Heroes of Light: Sephiroth, Minato, Tears and Sayaka, all four of them brandishing their crystal and weapons in a heroic posture.
Whilst many might be sad and mourn them, perhaps this is also an occasion to celebrate what they were in life and carry the memory of their deeds into your own life. Melodies of life, come circle round and grow deep in our hearts, as long as we remember.

THE END
OTA
What's this? The scent of a case, wafting in from a world beyond? My senses tingle me, it smells like... gunpowder?
[Looking down, Nashu blinked for a moment as a pile of lit bombs were beneath him. His face contoured into a comical expression as he was summarily launched through the portal in a massive explosion.]
OI! INSPECTOR, wait for meeeee!
Eorzea: The Wall
Hildibrand Manderville was none too surprised at the stonewalling that the Flame General was producing for them. A literal wall, some were even calling it Raubahn Savage for some unknown joke. He tapped his foot as he and Nashu stood patiently in queue, as the Flame General stood there, arm folded in waiting as person after person stepped forward.
He yawned deeply, stretching out. "Truly this is quite the queue, my dear companion. And yet, I feel slightly less agitated than the Eorzeans behind me."
Looking behind them, a literal malms long queue stretched out behind him, Nashu, and the entirety of the Adventurer Populace. Hildibrand could even see a few familiar faces in the queue.
"It's not all that bad inspector," replied Nashu cheerfully. "Look at the queue for Pipin Extreme!"
That queue, mind you, stretched PAST their line well back into the Ordens.
(ooc: replies can come from Hildi or Nashu)
DID SOMEONE SAY... THE WALL? BECAUSE GUESS WHO IS STANDING BESIDE THE FLAME GENERAL THERE
Great, googley moogley. It's all gone to shite.
"I-Inspector Manderville, surely you have a case to solve, correct?"Please tell her you do, lest the fourth wall shatter into tiny little bits as Raubahn glanced down at her with a questioning look.
YES GOOD
"Cor, it's been a while isn't it?" said Nashu with a perky grin. "Me and the Inspector do have a case, but the good sir Flame General hasn't let us pass yet."
"Verily, so we stood in the queue for the last three days!" Added Hildibrand. "Even my own father is several hours behind us. There is a case which is on the air, and my newfound heroics will undoubtedly be of some use to everyone here!"
POSE. POSE. MANDERVILLE TEETH GLINT.
someone give her a reason to throw her brother under the bus plz
"Hero? Mistress Leveilleur, what is he speaking of?"
Alisaie let out an exacerbated sigh, waving it off. "Naught that concerns the current mission. Pray, pardon us a moment?"
He gruffly nodded, but watched after her and her two strange companions - should they take the hint that they follow her.
"Gods, it's been ages. Though no doubt it was shorter to you in comparison," she stated, making small talk. "You do realize this is a war zone, correct? Not that I doubt your stamina for taking blows, of course."
Under the bus, under the bus!
"And the Inspector wouldn't be the same without me," replied Nashu. "Already we went and found the Adventurer AND Mogleo! With four of us in a party, it shouldn't be too bad, since the good Manderville family is on the case."
"Also, my father has gifted me with a good blade, similar to what I wielded previous." said Hildibrand, patting the sword on his side. "Though it isn't a weapon I prefer, using my wits rather than brawn, I spent the last few months before the war effort preparing for this moment when my services as a Hero is needed, as with Nashu who has crafted endless bombs."
All Eorzeans Welcome
Still, there was a sad smile on Ysayle's face as she watched the diminutive miqo'te dragoon try to make her way past the crush before giving up for the night. Even the time magic she elected to take with her back from Crystallis seemed unable to best the odd energies of troubles blocking the roads. Tales of a beast named D'dos and an attack referred to as "Ninety K" was laying them low. But this would soon too become a memory. Just like the version of herself this world knew had.
Re: All Eorzeans Welcome
Dressed as a monk now, and sporting fresh bruises from a bout with Lyse, he wandered his chocobo over to the hooded person and dismounted, the fat chocobo deciding to peck at his vegetable. "Pleasant day," he called out. "Ere the coming storm of war."
Re: All Eorzeans Welcome
Glancing over at the Other Warrior though she nodded, pulling back her hood a bit to allow him to see her face.
"There's always a calm betwixt them. People deserve to enjoy the Spring and Summer between Winter and Fall."
Re: All Eorzeans Welcome
"It's strange, isn't it? A good deed here, a quest there, and people never realize just how I've re-entered society with naught a word or peep."
Re: All Eorzeans Welcome
"I'm unsure if I'd be able to do the same. Mine own face is one with a lot more ireful memory attached to it." She clutched at her cloak, a rush of sadness of a potentially lonely life overcoming her. But that wasn't anything new for her, right?
Re: All Eorzeans Welcome
"Then perhaps, we can travel together. I smell adventure coming from malms away, in Azim Steppe. Perhaps there we can find something to do."
Re: All Eorzeans Welcome
"I'm unsure if I care to call on this power again. Beyond the dangers and the attention it can call, its not a name I know if I deserve to use any longer."
Re: All Eorzeans Welcome
Meteor smiled as he held out his hand. "Why don't we fade into history together, and make our new stories?"
The lalafell waved happily, the roegadyn nodded. The elezen woman thumbs upped and the miqo'te woman tipped her hat up with a grin.
"Let's leave this story in the capable hands of the Warrior."

"As much as it seems. I dare not reenter the stage, but I can do what I can to help." Her gaze lingered on K'pandolu for a moment. She didn't look much at all like Anniastae but they had the same fire in their eyes. Ysayle sighed and shook her head, "I'm glad you were able to save that other world. I cannot help but wish I could have done more than be merely sealed away for so much time."
She didn't feel particularly attached to Crystallis but she still lamented being little more than an ornament. To say nothing of the time she found herself completely taken by the Calamity as a Warrior of Darkness. The memory was vague, but it was there like a lingering shadow.
