Melodies Of Life || Change those flowing tears into shining courage, life goes on
Characters: Anyone who's been in the game
Where: Aqures Ixen
When: August 3rd
Summary: A story is over, many others are about to begin. Friends may reunite and rejoice together, friends may part and say farewell to each over forever. But even if you should leave your friends behind, your voice shall never forget their melodies.
Following the battle against Kalki, the sacrifice of old friends and the second destruction of Aqures Tosf, Palitutu cast all Heroes of Light into the Rift, each of them finding themselves in an all too familiar void. And yet... Soon the void vanished, as it had once before. This time it was all too clear none of this had been a dream. Upon coming to their senses, the Heroes of Light will find themselves on the outskirts of Aqures Ixen. Music and laughter can be heard coming from the city.
Is there a celebration in the city? Shouldn't it be filled with corrupted Heroes of Light and on the brink of destruction? Before they can do anything about these questions, the Heroes of Light are submerged by a wave of fluffy white balls of fur and fluff- the Moogles who helped them for all these years and are now overjoyed to see they are safe and sound. As they once did before, the Moogles will answer all of their questions, but also drag them into the city. A celebration is indeed taking place and why, it appears they are the reason the celebration is happening. The music is joyous, the people are happy and all appears to be for the best.
Upon reaching the third district, they will see familiar faces. Cid, Wedge, Biggs, Parajapati, Mograma, O'aka and many other friends they made along the way. They will all clap for them before congratulating them and taking part in the festivities. There are more familiar faces, however. Where once stood the Crystal of Fire is now a statue depicting four Heroes of Light: Sephiroth, Minato, Tears and Sayaka, all four of them brandishing their crystal and weapons in a heroic posture.
Whilst many might be sad and mourn them, perhaps this is also an occasion to celebrate what they were in life and carry the memory of their deeds into your own life. Melodies of life, come circle round and grow deep in our hearts, as long as we remember.

THE END
enthusiastic return wave!
Ah- Manami! You're awake again?
[…well, obviously. Ah- it's really been a while, though.]
Mm- I don't, really! We stole her, to tell the truth. [meanwhile, the mammet might come poke at Manami's feet. who's this.]
\o/
Yep! Sounds like I missed a bunch of stuff, but if it's all good in the end, then it's-
[He pauses at the feeling of his foot being poked. Crouching down he grins and continues speaking,]
Anyway, I suppose you stole that from the bad guys? Who is this? Or what? Did you steal him too? [He tries to gently poke the dollish-looking man back on the head.]
/o/
[she grins back, a little, tail waving.] Mm- from the Empire back home. But she's ours now! [now and forever. The tiny Haurchefant rocks back a little- reaching for Manami's fingers.] No, he's- he was a gift. I received him last Starlight- ah, well, the last we were awake for… He's a mammet of a friend of mine- Ser Haurchefant? I don't think I told you about him, did I?
no subject
He lets the doll (mammet? whatever~) grab his fingers as he blinks up at her.]
Sir who? Mmm~ sorry, maybe not.
no subject
The doll does indeed grasp his fingers- making to shake them, even!]
I must not have, then. He's a good man- he aided us where I didn't expect any such help, and… at a most trying time, personally. [After that incident at the Sands… well. She was in a state.] He's friendly, and enthusiastic- mayhap a little much so, at times- but I trust him. I'm glad to have this reminder of him. [even if she's a little confused about when he was made.]
no subject
He grins down at the doll, shifting his fingers so that he can give it a 'handshake' properly. Shake~ shake~ shake~]
Ohh~ so he's a hero? And a friend? Is he really this small? Sure is friendly though!
no subject
Hm… Well, I suppose! He commands the garrison at Camp Dragonhead, though, so he can't really go adventuring… [and she snorts.] No, he's Elezen- stands a head and more taller than me.
no subject
[And fearlessly(?) taking hold of the friendly hero-doll Manami lifts it up over his head, trying to get it the 'head and more' taller than Kupandoru-san.]
Like this? [He tilts his head back to smile at the doll.] It's nice to be high up, right?
no subject
[well- the mammet flails for a moment, before being assured he's not about to fall. K'pandolu stares for a moment- before she starts laughing, bright and loud. It's good.]
That's- haha, it is! I'm sure he's liking that.
no subject
Hehe- you think so? I like high up places too. Especially mountains! [ (Manami, she's heard it all before.) ]
It's kinda too bad if you're used to being high up, and then you turn short. You can sit on my head for a while if you want! Cats really like it up there too!
[He lets the doll down towards his head, to see if he'll sit on it.
He grins over at the cat-woman.]
'Course, you're too big, Kupandoru-san. Sorry. You could probably~ sit on my shoulders for a little while though!
no subject
That's right… And pushing yourself up them, right?
Haha… it isn't a lot of fun. [yay status effects] Hm~? The mammet isn't actually him, you know… [but the mammet Haurchefant seems pretty happy to cling to Manami's head! He'll probably be a little heavy after a time, but it's fine for now, right?
K'pandolu tilts her head.]
You think we could do that? [she's still a lot of muscle, you know…]
oh my gosh his name in katakana ;A;
Oh? But the doll is absolutely Sir-... ehheh- what's his name again? Oreshufaan? Anyway, you said this doll is a reminder of him, so it pretty much is him, right?
[Happy in turn the doll seems fine on his head, Manami shrugs at the question and laughs lightly.]
Well- Some parts of me are really strong, and some, maybe not so much.
it's… something, right? french to japanese, I guess!
Hm… Well, if you're all right with trying! You'll let me know if it's too much, of course, right?
no subject
[And then he looks confused for a moment.]
Trying what, again? [(As if he wasn't the one who brought her sitting on his shoulders up.)
After blinking at her blankly for a moment he smiles airily.]
Oh, don't worry about it. We don't need to actually try. You can get to much higher places without me~! Like on whatever that thing is.
[He points at the machine that she'd been working on.]
