Stories Through Songs
Characters: Eco & Anyone
Where: Aqures Ixen - Third District, Crystal of Fire
When: January 11
Summary: Now that Eco has his trusty biwa, he takes the time to share stories from his home world in Aqures Ixen. As a bard, it's only natural for him to sing his stories for any and all to hear. Eco also wishes to learn about the worlds the other heroes come from. He felt this was the best way to do it.
Warning: None. If any come up, they will be marked accordingly.
Propped nearby the Crystal of Fire, the crystal that supposedly brought heroes in from other words, was Eco. Unlike some of the other residents, Eco hadn't been here as long, a few months at best. Recently he had obtained one of his instruments from his home world. Because their goals were a combined effort, Eco felt it necessary to share some of his world to any who were interested. The best way to do that were through his songs.
By the Crystal of Fire, the sound of a biwa could be heard for any in the area. The traditional sound of the strings being pluck might strike familiar to some. There fade out pause in the melody.
"His cloak flaps in the wind. Light pours down from above."
The story told slowly and clearly, meant to be heard for any passerby. "Even now, in the heavens, it flutters still."
More plucks of which formed a somber melody.
"In summer, blessings of the rain." It continued. "In fall, a golden harvest."
A story of a renowned noble whom all loved and adored. A bitter passing of promise.
"In winter, fragments of white wings."
Hector's song. A death that stilled change and was taken to his grave.

Due to his world background, this was the conclusion he came to first. It was much more likely than an absolute evil only out to destroy things. Something out of a fairy tale.

She glanced over at Eco meeting his eyes with a sad smile. "It started with a single person but it became so much more, you know? It's important to understand it's source but.." Her fingers laced together in front of her. "Sometimes the best thoughts can turn into something dark. It doesn't always have to start that way. That's my experience anyway."

"Was it subdued in your world?"

Yuna let out a slow breath swinging her arms back and forth. "It was defeated but it came at a great cost. Honestly the whole story is a little complicated and very long. I'm not sure if this is the time for it."
