Guy hefted his gear over his shoulder and studied the map, noting the passage and any geographic markers that were along the way. There was a narrow pass that resembled a landbridge and an arid region that laid between them and their destination in the mountains toward the south-- Guy found himself glad that he had taken his time getting his few belongings in order and collecting supplies for the trip.
