Summary: The Heroes of Light who were captured during the past event are now prisoner in this research facility. This post is for them to thread the scenes they want, according to the schedule.

First Taken - Open to anyone[Yuffie's always Loud]

Yuffie had been almost asleep and very grumpy when the guard opened the door to her and Luffy's cell. Her head popped up and she quickly scrabbled from her bed so that she was facing the soldiers. Their were a few of them outside of the cell and they were pointing at her as they quietly spoke to one another.

She glanced towards Luffy who was still asleep on the bottom bed. The solider took her arm and began to drag her from the cell.

"Hey! What are you doing?" Her fingers clawed at their grip but it did nothing in her weakened state and of course they didn't answer her.

When Yuna had first heard the shuffling of the guards, it made her uneasy. It wasn't a meal time, she was certain, so why would they be... The sound of the cell next door opening was what prompted her to lift her head quickly, catching sight of the guards, trying to make out what they were doing.

Yuffie's voice alarmed her first of the possibility, the very real looking possibility -- that they were taking her out. Pushing herself up from the bed, a sinking feeling made itself known in her chest as she went to the bars, trying to get a better sense of what was happening. They were really taking her away! There was no way this was good, what were they planning to do to her?! Yuna's grip on the bars tightened, her knuckles turning white the harder she squeezed. "Yu... Yuffie!" she called, finding her voice. "Don't-- don't lose hope..."

Rikku had been stretching against the wall when the commotion started, one of the few ways she could fight the atrophy of muscles without burning too much energy on their limited food. Her gut tightened as she watched her fellow captive get pried from the adjoining cell. With each day they had been left alone, she hoped it might mean they would be kept as a bargaining tool.

Pops had warned her of some of the things that might happen if she found herself in enemy hands. But the most important part... "Frydajan rybbahc Rikku, cdyo ymeja. Cdyo ymeja, yht fa femm veht oui."

So where are you now, old man?

Quick footsteps found her next to her cousin, she wanted to scream at the guards, tell them to pick on someone their own size...but she did not know this enemy well enough yet, what if they punished her outcry by hurting Yunie? She watched Yuffie get dragged away, in fear for the girl, wishing she could offer more than her sympathy.

The screams bring him to the world of the living, eyes opening in time to see the young pirate being dragged away by the soldiers who'd been keeping them captive. He was armed with nothing but his brawn, but it was all he needed to make an upstart in opposition of their unknown deeds.

"OI! WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO HER!?" His advance is met with spears, pointing at his throat as his voice was now the only weapon he could make use of. "H-HEY! LEAVE HER ALONE! SHE'S MY NAKAMA, YOU HEAR?! IF YOU WANT TO MESS WITH SOMEONE, TAKE ME INSTEAD!! SHE'S NO USE TO YOU! SHE'S BRATTY, LOUD, ANNOYING! YOU CAN DO WHATEVER YOU WANT TO ME AND I WON'T SAY A WORD!"

Her eyes locked with Luffy's as the guard struggled to take her away. Even without her crystal Yuffie was the stubborn sort and she hadn't been broke yet. Her heels dug into the ground resisting the two guards tug as the others kept Luffy inside the cell. The moment she heard the lock echo behind her was the moment her heart sunk into her chest.

She was scared at first and then her captain began to shout. His frantic cries pulled at her defenses with name calling and hopeless threats. She wasn't about to let him be taken in her place and the moment he yelled was the moment she stopped struggling.

"I AM NOT!" She shouted back at her captain her eyes reflecting her usually cockiness but with a hint of affection towards the man. "I'm brave too." Her words were almost a whisper as they guided her away. Her steps echoing down the long hall as she disappeared from sight.

Her breath fell heavily from her lips and she shifted the grip on her shuriken. Each wave was endless and she didn't know how much energy she had left in her. Her arms were scrapped and bruised while a long gash trailed down her arm. She felt her energy build and in an instant of blinding speed it was released. She felt crimson tendrils lick up her joints as she moved, her motions quick as she sliced at the creatures that flooded towards her.

A moment later the monsters were littered around her feet. She was to tired to stand and for a moment she feared the monsters that she would swarm her but none came. Her legs shook, she was barely able to stand on her feet. The guards entered the large room roughly grabbing her and dragging her back to her cell.

Her vision fades as they carry her back to her cell, her feet barely supporting her weight as they move swiftly down the winding halls. The guards open the cell quickly tossing Yuffie down on the cold hard ground before locking the door and leaving the prisoners to their thoughts.

She tried to move but everything hurt; cuts and bruises covered her whole body. She looked up at Luffy trying her best to grin as she met his gaze. “I did it...”

Hours had passed since the Ninja of his crew had been taken away. Her waning eyes might notice the puncture marks given across his limbs, the marks of spears covering him in numerous places as he'd given more than just a vocal objection to her being taken away.

He kneels beside her, helping her sit up in haste as he looks over her wounds with widened eyes. Luffy is by no means a doctor, but he knows injuries well enough to see that she's as close to death as humanly possible. Teeth grit as he barks at the guards just now closing the cell, letting them have it with words that would make even the most vulgar sailor blush.

A hand firmly hits either cheek of the young woman now in his arms, the only sort of alarm he knows to try and wake her. "Oi!! Yuffie! Hold it together, okay?! You're strong, aren't you?! Come on!!"

Yuffie groaned, she wanted to yell at him but she was so tired. She opened one eye looking up at him feeling blood rush to her cheek where Luffy hit her. "I'm not dying stupid. I'm just tired. Can't you let me sleep?"

Her tone was a little wake but it held her usually cocky tone. "Like these guys can kill me."

Luffy lets out a long sigh, a smile coming to his lips as he holds her closer, trying to keep her warm from the cold floor she lays upon.

"Shishishi.. Damn right! It's gonna' take a hell lot more than that to kill a ninja."

Arms pull her in, lifting her from the chill of brick and mortar so that she now lays upon the top bunk. It's an effortless task, at least for the unassuming Luffy. When she's left to the bed, Luffy tugs at the fabric of his vest, tearing away sections to wrap around the open wounds which covers her. Even if she protests, he continues, not saying another word.

If she had been feeling stronger she would have made some comment or something along the lines of whisking her away but she was tired and it was hard for her to keep her focus. She was grateful that he had moved her to the bed. The floor was cold and she didn’t think she would have made it on her own.

Yuffie wanted to protest but the words slipped away. After a few minutes she fell asleep while Luffy continued to bandage up her wounds. Her last thought echoed in her mind as she fell into a deep sleep. That really isn’t fair Luffy.. You can bandage me and I couldn’t do the same for you.
