Well, the spear was his... as long as the kid was comfortable with it. It's not like it would just snap off easy though. This is some magical fantasy land, it would just be weakened, worn... He'd have to fight something hardcore to outright break it. But it's a wood spear. Cheap, easy to replace, and good to keep MarKus busy!
