[Given his posturing to try and gain some measure of comfort from Hylia on previous occasions, it's frustrating that even now, right at the end Hylia still doesn't trust him like so many other Heroes do and have done. Heroes have trained with him, been mentored by him, died for him.

Sephiroth doesn't feel much in the way of an inclination to even grieve for those Heroes lost, even if he has given his time to so many others during their own grief.]
