Summary: The Heroes of Light have a shared dream— They find themselves in the body of a Hero of Light from two thousand years ago, both witnessing events and reenacting things that happened back then. But these Heroes of Light aren't just anybody; they are people from their homeworlds... And sometimes themselves. Please refer to the second OOC Post for details and plotting.
Warning: Battles, death, tragedies, bad things overall.

[Hylia feels her own suspicions lower though her guard stays up. She can't completely be comfortable around the powerful warrior.

Can we learn more?

[She doesn't mind admitting that he had a point. They would all do what they must.]

[Given his posturing to try and gain some measure of comfort from Hylia on previous occasions, it's frustrating that even now, right at the end Hylia still doesn't trust him like so many other Heroes do and have done. Heroes have trained with him, been mentored by him, died for him.

{...and you just don't feel it, do you?}

Sephiroth doesn't feel much in the way of an inclination to even grieve for those Heroes lost, even if he has given his time to so many others during their own grief.]

There is only one way to go, from here.

[He turns his face from Hylia and back up to feel the rain smash against his face some more as it starts to get heavier. Allowing the small rivulets that fall back into his hair send highly sensitive shivers down the back of his neck. Drowning out his exhaustion, perhaps? Or perhaps steeling his patience.]

There are always paths. Sometimes unseen.

[She watches him feeling the trust and friendship that Zelda shared with him. It is curious that such a pure soul would reach out to this one. She doesn't stop it but listens to the feelings in Zelda's heart knowing the kindness that the young girl has shown.

Hylia knows that this Sephiroth is not the same. She can sense the darkness even if that power has been place out of reach of her other self. One day you will be able to sense it as well.]

We shouldn't be blinded by anything, not now.

[It is honest advice from Hylia, something she is imparting to all those who cross her path.]

[He's not sure that he agrees with that sentiment. Unseen paths mean doorways that might not be open yet, that might be waiting to open when he doesn't expect -or much want- them to. Corners that threats might be hiding around ready to catch him unawares. Sephiroth has spent years dedicating himself to knowing of all of it, to have a way he has not yet thought of-

It's best not to ponder too heavily. The small voice in his head doesn't need any other insecurities to feed on. Sephiroth must be in a position to will himself completely in a certain direction when the time comes.]

Wise words. [He offers a lilt of his head in her direction before resetting his head neutral and drawing back his shoulders. That usual, confident posture of his.]

[Zelda turns from the rain feeling a chill seep into her bones.]

[She isn't sure she wishes to stay in the presence of such darkness. Cloud will be watching and it is his fight. He is the hero tasked with that as Link is her hero, tasked to face a different darkness.

Does there have to be such darkness.

As long as there is light, darkness will rise to meet it.]

[He's not about to stop Hylia from leaving, after all. There is not much left to be said between them and -in the end- it's not going to matter ultimately if she trusts him or not.

They'd all learn the hard way, or not at all.]
