"That is true but I don't think that's all of it. We fight so others don't have to, yes but we fight because we have something to protect." She smiled her eyes growing distant as she thought back to her own world.

"Everyone has something to protect. I think those who rise up and do something are what we call heroes. Your daughter might one day be a hero weather you tell her or not because part of your spirit is in her."

It wasn't comforting to say but it was the truth. Even if Gwen wasn't going to be there for her daughter, her daughter would still find a way into her mothers world. She would become a hero and make her mother proud. It was a parents duty to guide and protect their children but they also had to nurture them to become something great.
