Summary: The Heroes of Light have a shared dream— They find themselves in the body of a Hero of Light from two thousand years ago, both witnessing events and reenacting things that happened back then. But these Heroes of Light aren't just anybody; they are people from their homeworlds... And sometimes themselves. Please refer to the second OOC Post for details and plotting.
Warning: Battles, death, tragedies, bad things overall.

Eager. ( -- she corrected. she did not turn to face the other, and remained focused on the map again, eyes narrowing. )

Sitting around waiting like this does not suit me. ( and then a flick of her eye, just enough to catch sight of terra. ) You would put so much effort into the survival of these humans, esper?

[She eyes her for a moment feeling her claws flex at the comment. A soft growl rose in her throat before she forces it away. There is no point in fighting now.]

Effort, no but I do so wish to fight.

[On that much they agree though the voice inside Terra's head felt dread from her own words.

We should help them.

She tried to force the voice away and the feeling that came with it. It was as if someone was within her and it wasn't a feeling Terra was comfortable with. She wasn't going to be controlled again.]

( the woman shrugged just slightly, gaze returning to the map in silence. she wasn't even studying it so much anymore as she was looking through it. burning a hole into her memory as she considered the fate of this world... and all others.

the calamity would continue. she was going to see to that. )

It will be no small feat to come out of these tasks successful. I wonder if the heroes of light are up to the task.

[greenmagick]

We shall see.

[Terra has no plans to either continue or stop the calamity. She craves the fight and is drawn to the power the the calamity holds.

Don't we want to stop it? To save our home?

She feels herself grunt at her other self's words. What has their world ever done for her? Enslave her? Use her? No, she doesn't want to save that.]

The heroes will most likely prevail.

[If only because they have no more left to lose. So much has been lost.]

Ha ha... ( the laugh is short and curt, dry, devoid of any true emotion. ) And what is it that makes you think this way? Do you believe in them? In their cause?

( there is nothing wrong with helping... if everyone can try together, then...
it is foolish. be gone with you, intrusive thoughts... your words will not be heeded this day. )

I believe in the desperation of people.

[That is what she knows. She knows how people think and act. It's never proven her wrong in the past. She turns away from Shizel listening to the voice in her thoughts.

People can surprise you. They can be strong too.

Her eyes close wishing the innocent voice away. That isn't this world anymore and she's lost her humanity along the way.]

I will you luck then.

Luck won't be necessary. The data is more than enough. Desperation... will not save everyone. ( she shook her head with a slight smirk, thinking of the day balir had died -- ) Few, perhaps. But not all.

And then, I wonder. How they will continue in their new cursed existence... ( devoid of family and friends... devoid of love... and swimming in glorious chaos. )

[Terra grunts and shakes her head.]

That is no concern of mine.

[She turns away from the woman unsure of what to even say. She knows nothing of data and she knows that heroes will die. They are always dying, it's the curse of being human.

her other-worldly gaze turns back towards the woman.]

Are you suggesting that some might rather die?

Who is to say. There are many fools and brilliant minds amongst their ranks, I'm sure that their actions will decide their fates, more so than what they wish to accomplish going in to these battles.

( and then, a single bitter laugh -- ) And Who can say which way would be better, at that.

[greenmagick]

[Terra doesn't like that answer, if only because she is determined to control her own fate. Her inhuman gaze fixates on the woman before she turns and leaves once more.]

Who is to say..

[Her voice is light, fluttering upon the wind as she walks away.

You shouldn't end conversations like that.

The voice prods at her thoughts. The Esper can do as she pleases as she has always done.]
